As she mentioned Ye Moxuan, the fire in Yuchi Jin’s eyes started burning, then he bellowed, “That brat really crossed the line this time. He actually got you hurt like this. Xue… don’t worry. I will bring justice to you. He got you injured this way, so he must bear full responsibility!”
Hearing Yuchi Jin’s words, Duanmu Xue gently wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes. “Grandfather Yuchi, can I live here during this period? I’m afraid that if my grandfather and brother found out about this…”

When Yuchi Jin heard that Ye Moxuan was back, he quickly stood up, as though he was provoked. “He still has the audacity to come back. Good. Then let’s just see what he wants!”
“Grandfather Yuchi,” Duanmu Xue called him softly as she pleaded for Ye Moxuan’s sake. “Please don’t blame Shen too much. He… can’t be fully blamed for this matter.”
“Who else should I blame except him? You’d better rest here and wait for me while I take care of him.” As he finished, Yuchi Jin left the room. The doctor let Duanmu Xue rest properly before going out as well.
As for Yu Bo, he followed closely behind Yuchi Jin down the stairs. As they kept on walking, he heard Old Master bellow, “Yu Bo, bring me the family punishment.”
Yu Bo was rendered speechless before he replied to him, “Old Master, Young Master Xuan is already an adult now. I don’t think it’s appropriate to use the family punishment on him.”
Old Master Yuchi was a traditional man, and that was why the Yuchi family still had their family punishment.
Hearing his words, Yuchi Jin stopped his steps and glared at him with discontent. “Yu Bo, what are you saying? Although he is an adult now, he still injured Xue. If I don’t use the family punishment, he won’t know his place.”

Yuchi Jin was rendered speechless. Yu Bo really showed that he was the person who stayed by him the longest as he was able to speak to Yuchi Jin’s heart. Sometimes, Yuchi Jin really felt that he would one day push his grandson, Ye Moxuan, off the edge by forcing him.
However, as he thought of it, he remembered his mother’s tragedy back then. Then, Yuchi Jin felt that it didn’t matter if he hated him more because he hoped that his grandson could stay by his side forever.
Thinking about it, Yuchi Jin let out a heavy sigh. “I know what you mean. Enough. Don’t talk about it anymore. I have my own thoughts about it.”
When George and Ye Moxuan came to the hall downstairs, Yu Bo went to look for Old Master Yuchi.
Soon after, Yu Bo brought him over.
Seeing both of them slowly walking toward him, Ye Moxuan stood up.
Thud! Just like that, Yuchi Jin lifted his hand and hit his cane on Ye Moxuan’s shoulder.
Oh, sh*t! George was not quick enough to stop him. Before he even saw Yuchi Jin making the move, the cane had already landed on Ye Moxuan’s shoulder. The firm sound of the collision made it sound even more painful.
George stood up immediately. “Yuchi, are you alright?”
Yu Bo, who followed Old Master Yuchi from behind, was also shocked. At first, he thought that Old Master Yuchi might have taken in some of his words, so he was surprised to see him hitting Ye Moxuan the moment they met. Actually, Ye Moxuan had a plan of his own; he really didn’t try to avoid the hit. As long as Old Master Yuchi would stop forcing him to be engaged with Duanmu Xue, this hit was worth the while. It would help to calm Yuchi Jin down, which would make it easier to talk to him later.
Meanwhile, Yuchi Jin didn’t expect him to not avoid it and just stand there to be hit. The hit wasn’t soft at all. I thought that he would try to avoid it, but…
