Georgy couldn’t stand her anymore and uttered directly, “Why do you have so many excuses? The salary, bonuses, and attendance incentives that are deducted will be compensated by me. Is that enough? Now, shut up and just go to a fancy meal with me.”
Rory growled, “What is with that attitude of yours?”
George paused for a moment before speaking, “I’m sorry. I’ll give you that money back. Can you just think of it as me begging you to have a meal with me?”
“Don’t touch me.” Rory shook his hand off and stood in a corner. Her eyes were slightly red because George’s words just now had hurt her. She thought about her life in the past where she was able to spend however much that she liked, and her entire life was taken care of. However, it was an entire different story right now.
