Han Muzi was preparing for bed after her shower, but her phone vibrated, and so she checked her phone. She frowned after reading the message.
He helped me with something huge. What was he referring to?
Besides, he said that it was something he did for Ye Moxuan and me?
Han Muzi processed the information swiftly by connecting the dots of what happened recently before replying immediately.
Han Muzi: ‘Is this huge thing you’re referring to related to Yuchi’s grandfather?’
Little Georgie: ‘Damn it! Muzi, you are too smart! How did you even guess that?’
Han Muzi was rendered speechless by his reply. So I was right.
Han Muzi’s expression turned somber. Has Old Master Yuchi realized that something isn’t quite right? That should be expected, since Ye Moxuan has been coming over for dinner on a daily basis. In fact, he wouldn’t even return home when his family urged him via phone.

Little Georgie: ‘Oh, my. That is so touching. Muzi, you are so strong. Why do I have a feeling that… your feelings for Yuchi run deep? The two of you just got to know each other after all.’
George rubbed his chin when he mentioned that.
He suddenly recalled the first time he saw Han Muzi in the elevator. She was hiding behind the crowd, and she didn’t dare look at Yuchi Shen. In the end, she even dashed out of the elevator doors.

Han Muzi’s fingers trembled when she read the message, and her phone landed on her face. She almost cried out in pain, but her heart was still hammering against her chest.
She picked her phone up before re-reading George’s message while trying to come up with a reply.
This man is very smart. How did he notice that? I’m not even sure if I should just tell him the truth or continue to keep this secret from him.
Just when Han Muzi was hesitating, her phone rang again.
Little Georgie: ‘Muzi, I’m just asking randomly, and I do not have any ill intentions. After all, Yuchi hasn’t been around here all this while. He appeared out of nowhere without warning. It means that he has a past. However, I’m not sure who was in that part of his life. However, I realized that Yuchi looked at you differently when you first met, and that is why I guessed that you might have known him from before.’
Han Muzi pursed her lips into a thin line when she read that. George is not a bad person; in fact, he has been helping me a lot from the very beginning. Furthermore, the situation is rather complicated now.

Han Muzi typed slowly on her phone.
Han Muzi: ‘George, you are very smart.’
In all honesty, George was just asking Han Muzi randomly. Just when he was about to leave with his phone since Yuchi Shen had yet to reply to his message, he was so shocked that he almost tripped and fell when he read Han Muzi’s message.

Han Muzi could imagine vividly the scene with George losing his mind when she saw him bombarding her with questions. Hence, she replied to him. ‘It’s quite late today. Let’s fix a time, and I’ll explain everything to you tomorrow.’

Han Muzi: ‘Okay.’
After the two of them agreed on that, Han Muzi switched her phone off before going to bed.
Just when George was about to head back, Yuchi Shen replied to his message with a simple sentence.

George suggested, “Let’s go! I’ll treat you to a meal at a restaurant. We can have our chat over a meal.”

“What are you saying? Yuchi will not agree to it if he knows that you’re hanging out with me. Let’s go right now! Now!”
With that, George ignored her protests, and he pulled her hand before dragging her out.
Han Muzi didn’t have the chance to react because he was already dragging her into the elevator. Miss Lin, who was just walking out of the secretary office, exclaimed in surprise.

“Muzi, you can’t seem to handle greasy food. The restaurant we went to previously was too greasy for you. You even threw up after you got home, and that is why I chose this vegetarian restaurant on purpose. Muzi, don’t you worry. We can have a lengthy chat while we enjoy our food slowly.”
He was extremely curious about Yuchi Shen’s past, especially the part where he even had an ex-girlfriend.

George even took the initiative to pour them tea, and he served her straight away once they sat at the table.
