“Why should I expose you?” Ye Moxuan asked coldly.
Shen Qi frowned because she couldn’t understand why. “If that’s the wedding he advocated, why didn’t he expose me when he found out that I wasn’t Shen Yue?”
“Ha!” Ye Moxuan sneered contemptuously and looked at her as though she was some kind of idiot. “Is your brain an ornament?”
“I…” Shen Qi was stunned by his mockery. “Must you talk to me in such a way?”
“In what other way should I talk to you then?”
“Am I merely a vain, devious, and brainless woman in your eyes?” Shen Qi questioned.
Ye Moxuan pursed his lips as ridicule filled his eyes. “You know yourself pretty well. Not bad.”
Upon hearing that, Shen Qi clenched her fists and stared straight into his eyes. “Then, let me ask you, how could a brainless woman be devious at the same time? Ye Moxuan, why do you have to contradict yourself all the time?”
His eyelids twitched, thereafter his eyes narrowed into a dangerous gaze. This bloody woman!
He suddenly raised his gaze and gave her a ferocious look. “Say that again!”
Startled by his sudden change of gaze, Shen Qi retreated slightly, but still managed to look him in the eye adamantly.
“Ha!” Ye Moxuan sneered. Is this woman an idiot? It’s clear that she’s afraid, but she’s doing all she can to pretend that she’s not.
“Don’t challenge me when you don’t have the guts!”
The lift opened as soon as he said that.
Shen Qi then left the elevator in anger.
As such, Ye Moxuan frowned. Just when he was about to condemn her behavior, Shen Qi stopped suddenly and turned her head to look at Ye Moxuan.
Her gaze met with his, whereupon Ye Moxuan could tell the conflict in her eyes.

Shen Qi bit her lower lip and stared at him for a while, then she turned around slowly.
Ye Moxuan curled his thin lips, his eyes brimming with victory. When he thought that she would come over to push his wheelchair, she flashed a grimace at him instead and snarled, “Since I don’t have the guts, just come out from the lift yourself!”
Disregarding his already livid face, she turned to leave after finishing her sentence.
“Bloody woman! Come back!” Ye Moxuan was furious that she grimaced at him and left him behind. She’ll pay for this!
At the same time, he realized that he could just turn the wheelchair himself, so he did.
Shen Qi then left the restaurant alone. When she was about to go home by herself, she paused and looked for Xiao Su, and seeing that he was by the car, she went over and patted his shoulder.
“Assistant Shen? Why are you here? Shouldn’t all of you be having breakfast now?”
Shen Qi’s face looked terrible, her mood evidently dimmed. “Not anymore.”
“What happened?” Xiao Su looked behind her and realized that Ye Moxuan was not around, thereupon he asked, “Where’s Young Master Ye?”
Shen Qi pursed her lips and murmured, “He… might still be inside the elevator. You should go get him.”
Xiao Su’s eyes bugged out upon hearing that. “Inside the elevator? Why didn’t you bring him with you, Assistant Shen? You—Young Master Ye?”
Before he could finish his condemnation toward Shen Qi, his eyes widened when she saw who was behind Shen Qi.
At the same time, Shen Qi could feel a sense of coldness behind her back. Needless to say, it must be Ye Moxuan’s icy gaze that was being directed at her.
She froze, and a few seconds later, she decided to flee.
“One more step forward, and you’re dead meat.” In the end, before she could take another step forward, Ye Moxuan’s blizzard-like voice reached her ears, causing her foot to hang in the air; she was afraid to move any further.
Xiao Su rolled his eyes and decided to stay away from the storm; he went off somewhere and continued being a spectator.
Upon seeing that, Shen Qi was frustrated with him.
She could feel that Ye Moxuan was closing in on her, which caused her to be nervous. She then clenched her fists and turned around abruptly.
“I didn’t do that to you on purpose. It was because you were—” Before she could finish speaking, her knees were hit by Ye Moxuan’s wheelchair, causing her to blench. Her knees jerked and she fell onto Ye Moxuan’s body as a result.
This accident was out of Ye Moxuan’s expectation; he had been expressionless, but when he saw that Shen Qi was falling onto him, he subconsciously reached out his hands.
Upon seeing that, Xiao Su’s eyes almost popped out of his head. He wasn’t sure whether Shen Qi was stupid or naive. Why did she fall at a time like this?
Shen Qi plunged into Ye Moxuan’s arms, and her mind went blank. She could feel his big hands wrapped around her waist, and the warmth of his palms penetrating through her clothes then into her body.
“Must you apologize in such a way?” A deep voice rose above her head.
Shen Qi suddenly raised her head, thereupon her red lips rubbed against Ye Moxuan’s refined chin.
His originally rigid face froze, and his eyes turned cold, making Shen Qi’s face turn pale. She wanted to push him away, but there was nowhere she could place her hands, so she could only lie on his body. She was really afraid that what happened in the morning would reoccur.
Hence, she nervously defended herself, “It wasn’t intentional… P-Please let me stand up.” After she apologized, she begged him.
Ye Moxuan’s gaze was as brutal as a wolf’s, thereafter it fixated on her red lips.
“Not intentional? Was it really coincidental? Just tell me straight if you want to seduce me, I can grant your wish.” With that, he tightened his grip around her waist, which caused their body temperatures to increase steadily.
Shen Qi’s pale face turned red in an instant, and she bit her lower lip, aware of the weird gaze from the crowd. Embarrassed, she tried to push him away. “We’re in public now! Stop it! Let me go!”
She spoke in a tremulous voice as she looked around nervously. It was like a still lake that started to boil suddenly, which caused the water to spurt. However, the more flustered she got, the more Ye Moxuan wanted to grab her.
Ye Moxuan curled his lips while his big hands moved up from her waist. When his hands reached her back, he could clearly feel her spine. Only then did he realize how thin she was.
“Let me go!”
Shen Qi’s struggle made him come to his senses, thereafter he exerted more force on her back.
Plop! Shen Qi could still stand with her back bent earlier, but now she completely plunged onto Ye Moxuan’s body as a result of his pull.
Shen Qi and Xiao Su were at a loss for words.
