Upon hearing that Han Muzi was going to return to the country, Han Qing was not surprised at all. After all, he had understood his little sister well. He just did not expect that Ye Moxuan was so important to her that she wanted to fight for his family business and properties.
“Leave a group of people here to find out about Ye Moxuan’s whereabouts. Let’s go back first.”
The team returning to the country was quite huge. Even Xiao Su, who was injured from head to toe, had boarded the plane. After all, he was Ye Moxuan’s assistant. Upon hearing that Ye Linhan wanted to go back to lead the Ye Group, he jumped up immediately out of spite. Because of that, he tore open his wounds and hissed in pain right after that.
Yan was quite speechless when she saw that. “Can you be more self-conscious? Remember that you are a patient! Do you think that you are a high-jump athlete?”
Xiao Su did not reply to her rhetorical question.
On the flight back home, when Han Muzi leaned against the chair and tried to sleep, Han Qing took off his jacket and put it on her, making her open her eyes immediately.
“You have thought it through? If you are involved in this, I’m afraid there’s a tough war ahead of you.”
Han Muzi pressed her lips together into a fine line and nodded. “Actually, I don’t really have to think it through. For everything that used to belong to him, I want them to be intact before he returns.”
“I know it now. If you need any help, just let me know.”
“There’s no need for that. After all, this is the Ye Family’s matters. I don’t want to implicate the Han Family.”
Han Qing remained silent and did not reply to her after that.
As soon as they had gotten down from the plane, Han Qing’s phone rang immediately. It was Mr. Nan who called him. “Mr. Han, after knowing that Miss Muzi and you are returning today, Little Young Master begged me to send him to the airport. I couldn’t reject his request so…” His amicable voice sounded through the phone.
Upon hearing that, Han Qing stared straight ahead. “Mr. Nan, are you guys at the airport now?”
“Yes, we are at the arriving hall. There are too many people here, so I didn’t let him get out of the car because I’m afraid that I will lose him in the crowd.”
“Got it.”
Upon hanging up the phone, Han Qing looked at Han Muzi who was right beside him. The torture after the few days had made her looked thinner. When she wore her previous clothes, she looked like she drowned in them. On top of that, she did not wear any makeup, so she looked both pale and haggard.
No one would have thought that Han Muzi did not even care about her son anymore after something had happened to Ye Moxuan. Now that Little Bean is here at the airport… I wonder if she would want to see him or not. Han Qing pursed his lips. After he pondered for a long moment, he said tentatively, “I asked Little Bean to come fetch you at the airport.”
Han Muzi suddenly stopped walking and the expressions of Su Jiu and the rest changed.
Everyone thought that Han Muzi would explode, but she replied nonchalantly, “Is that so? Let him come then.”
No one dared to say anything. After all, Han Muzi did not want to see Little Bean before this. She did not even want to video-call him—they had all witnessed that. No one had any inkling what Han Muzi was thinking right now, so they only followed her out of the exit.
As expected, many people awaited her return to the country. Some of the reporters received the news that she was coming back today and they specifically waited at the airport for the entire day. After all, Ye Moxuan’s mishap was big news to report on in North City. As the bride of that wedding, Han Muzi was the topic of the day without a doubt.
Many flashlights shined at Han Muzi right after she exited. She felt suffocated for a moment as it made her remember the time she rushed out with her wedding dress. The reporters, who lacked any morale, shoved the camera in her face and knocked her to the ground. Apart from that, they even asked her many heart-wrenching questions.
“Oh, no! Didn’t we keep the news of our return private? Why are there so many reporters here?”
Upon seeing so many people, Yan was immediately stunned. Soon, she rushed forward to stand in front of Han Muzi as if she was a hen protecting her chicks. “Stop taking pictures! You are infringing on her privacy!”
Someone retorted, “What privacy? We just want to ask Miss Han a few questions!” With that, one of them rushed forward amidst the crowd and shoved the microphone to Han Muzi, who stoically stood at the same spot.
Upon seeing that the camera had almost knocked into Yan, Han Muzi stretched out her hand to pull Yan behind her and looked at the group of reporters coldly. “Please take note of your manners. If you hurt anyone, I will sue your company directly.” She exuded a cold aura that was completely opposite of her weak appearance at the wedding. At that moment, her fierceness had made the others take a step back in shock. However, some of them who were more courageous continued to step forward.
“Miss Han, we just want to interview you. We won’t hurt anyone. It’s too harsh to sue our company just because of that!”
“Harsh?” Han Muzi looked at that person. Is this reporter retaliating against me directly? And he even says that I’m being too harsh? Her smile got crueler as she took a step forward. “Tell me, why do I need to treat you with respect? Am I a public figure? You guys spent so much time publishing articles about me. Did you even get my consent? If I sue all of you, it is within my rights to do so because you have affected my life seriously. Who says I’m harsh by doing so?”
Her words had probably scared the crowd away. After exchanging glances with each other, the reporters put down their cameras one by one as they walked away. In no time, the crowd gave way to her and Han Muzi walked out of the airport with everyone trotting behind her.
“Tsk! Why is she so arrogant? Does she think that she’s some hotshot just because she is the Young Lady of the Han Family? Her future husband is dead yet she is still so arrogant here!”
“I know right! According to me, the Ye Group is going to change soon. Yet, she is still so haughty here.”
“Well, time will tell. Let’s see how long she can do this.”
Of course, such words did not reach Han Muzi’s ears. If she had heard that, she would probably rush forward to fight them. However, they only dared to complain about this quietly among themselves. After all, with their background, they did not even dare to antagonize any of the families in North City, let alone the Han Family and Ye Family.

Han Muzi suddenly stopped when she saw the car of the Han Family by the roadside. When she saw the car door being opened, she rushed forward immediately without a second thought and got into the car directly. Her motions were in sync and flowed smoothly.
