“B*stard!” Shen Qi traced his gaze and noticed just what he had rested his eyes upon.
After Shen Qi scolded him, she glared at him hatefully before pushing him away.
As a result, both of them were separated from each other and Ye Moxuan was left hanging off the edge of the bed. Since Shen Qi had moved away from him so suddenly, his large frame fell off the bed.
“Ah!” Shen Qi’s expression morphed into one of shock and she charged forward to catch him. Although Ye Moxuan was rather thin, he was packed with heavy muscles, so when Shen Qi was crushed by his falling weight, she almost slipped and fell.
Fortunately, she had braced herself in advance, and her face was red with exertion as she supported him.
“Are you alright?” Once she stabilized herself, Shen Qi asked him nervously.
Ye Moxuan had never been treated in such a careless manner before in his entire life, and his facial expression was livid. “What do you think?”
“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to.” Shen Qi could only apologize to him. “Fortunately, you didn’t fall onto the ground. Here, I’ll help you up.”
Ye Moxuan pursed his lips and didn’t reply as he slowly got into his wheelchair with Shen Qi’s help.
Although the process was torturous, once Shen Qi saw that he was seated on his wheelchair, she released a sigh of relief and a sense of accomplishment washed over her. Just as she reached out to wipe away the sweat on her forehead, her wrist was caught in Ye Moxuan’s grip.
Startled, Shen Qi stared at him with wide eyes.
“W-What are you doing?”
Ye Moxuan’s eyes narrowed, traces of evil gleaming in his eyes. “You really have an… interesting way of seducing people. I seem to have underestimated you.”
“What? Since when did I—”
Before she could continue, Ye Moxuan tugged her hand with greater force and Shen Qi fell into his embrace. He then grabbed her by her chin and said to her, “How interesting. I know that we aren’t intimate with each other, but I can’t help but be curious to know why your ex-husband divorced you even though you are such a seductress.”
As those embarrassing words fell upon Shen Qi’s ears, her face paled and she bit her lip. “I have never seduced you before.”
“You’re still denying it?” Ye Moxuan sneered at her. “How stubborn.”
“I have never done anything of the sort!” Shen Qi stared at him adamantly. “Ye Moxuan, you keep on going on and on about how I’m the one who is seducing you! Since when have I ever seduced you?! Am I really the one who is seducing you, or are you the one who has lost self-control and just acts on your desires whenever you see me?!”
Ye Moxuan said, “I never realized that you were such a witty person.”
He increased the strength in his grip and Shen Qi cried out in pain as she frowned, “Let go of me!”
“Let go of you? Is this not what you wanted? You aren’t wearing your undergarments in the early morning and even purposely came to support me with your body…” Ye Moxuan moved in close to her ear and breathed on it. His hot breath scalded her neck, and Shen Qi couldn’t help but tremble in response.
“Y-You’re just spouting nonsense!”
The blush faded from Shen Qi’s face when she suddenly recalled something.
Her body had been seen by him and after that, she was afraid that he would fall from his bed, so she rushed forward to grab him by his shoulders. At that time, both of their bodies were pasted close to each other, hence Ye Moxuan probably felt her chest against his back.
“Ha.” Ye Moxuan sneered at her and said, “I’m not spouting nonsense, and your body knows that very clearly.”
“Ye Moxuan, don’t you dare forget about our agreement.”
When he heard that, Ye Moxuan was mildly surprised.
“You were the one who said before that under no circumstances was I to come close to you unless it was something important, and yet, what are you doing right now?”
She raised her hands, but both of her slender, pale wrists were captured by Ye Moxuan in a tight grip.
Their skin tones were different, and Ye Moxuan was stunned by the difference in size of their arms.
A moment later, Ye Moxuan released his grip. “You think I wanted to touch you? An unclean and impure woman like you is the most unappetizing thing ever.”
After he said that, Ye Moxuan pushed her away, making Shen Qi stagger and almost fall to the floor. She then turned around and threw a hateful look toward the conceited man who was sat upon his wheelchair. Suppressing her indignance, she narrowed her eyes at him before she turned around and walked away.
She picked up her clothes and proceeded to put them on in the bathroom. By the time she was done, Ye Moxuan was no longer in the room.

He had woken up so early without even brushing his teeth or washing up and just disappeared.
Shen Qi tidied up her stuff before she took out her phone and turned it on.
Just as her phone had started up, countless messages from foreign numbers began flooding in.
‘Qi, did you block my number?’
‘Why is your phone turned off? I really have something important to say to you. I know I can’t ever make it up to you, but please, give me a chance to explain myself.’
Explain himself? The look in Shen Qi’s eyes grew a few degrees colder.
What is there to explain?
Is there any need to explain how he had an affair with that little mistress of his? And how he had been with her for so long that they even had a child together?

Shen Qi went on to block all of those foreign numbers so that he would stop harassing her before she put away her phone.
Just as she was leaving the room, she happened to bump into Ye Moxuan who was returning.
Shen Qi pondered about it for a while, and in the end, she decided to go up and push him to his destination.
“Don’t you dare come close to me.” However, Ye Moxuan spat out those emotionless words from his thin lips, making Shen Qi stop dead in her tracks.
A few of the cleaners who had come to work early overheard that exchange, thereupon they shared a look with each other before pretending that they hadn’t seen or heard anything, and they went back to work.
Ye Moxuan then returned to his room by himself whereas Shen Qi headed downstairs to grab some breakfast.
The Ye Family was a large family and they were supposed to eat breakfast together. However, Old Master Ye often ate his breakfast outside and not at home, which was why there were three designated times for breakfast in their household. The first session for breakfast was at six o’clock, the next was at seven o’clock, and the last was at eight o’clock.
If one was late and missed those three breakfast hours, the Ye Family’s chef wouldn’t prepare any breakfast for them.
Shen Qi had always woken up early, which was why she usually went for the six o’clock breakfast session.
Just as she sat down, she heard a voice come from behind her.
“Good morning, Second Young Lady! Are you here for breakfast?”
Shen Qi turned around and saw a maid smiling as she greeted her. Throughout the whole time she lived in this household, the only people who smiled at her was the older brother of Ye Moxuan, Ye Linhan, and that maid.
Though Shen Qi’s facial expression was a bit unnatural, she wore a smile and nodded her head in acknowledgement.
“I’ve just fried some eggs. Do you want to have a taste?”
“Sure.” Shen Qi nodded.
When the maid stepped forward and handed the plate to Shen Qi, the latter reached out her hand to receive the plate. Suddenly, the maid’s hand shook and the fried egg fell on Shen Qi’s clothes!
“Second Young Lady, are you alright?” The facial expression of the maid quickly changed, and she hurriedly grabbed a paper towel so that she could wipe away the stains on Shen Qi’s shirt. At that, Shen Qi frowned, wondering if her eyes had deceived her.
She clearly saw the maid let go of the plate intentionally, but the shock and concern that was plastered all over her face seemed so genuine and innocent…
Perhaps she had misunderstood her.
“Second Young Lady, I’m so sorry! I’m such a klutz! Here, how about you drink a glass of milk to calm down?”
“It’s alright. Don’t worry about it.” Shen Qi smiled at her before reaching out to take the glass of milk.
Splash! The maid splashed the milk all over her!
Shen Qi was so shocked that she was frozen in place.
The maid threw the glass near Shen Qi’s foot and exclaimed, “Second Young Lady! How could you be so careless?! You can’t even hold a glass of milk properly!”
Shen Qi raised her head to look at the maid incredulously.
Where was the innocence in the maid’s gaze? Currently, her eyes were filled with strange and twisted satisfaction…
“Did you actually consider yourself to be the Second Young Lady? Did you think I would serve you willingly?”
“Why don’t you take a look in the mirror and look at yourself? Would I serve a person like you? The Young Master doesn’t care about you, so why are you still stubbornly living in this house?!”
