It was just a party. Why did he care about it so much? He had the right to be mad even if it was really important, and she didn’t turn up, but why did he care so much about it that he even took out the divorce settlement agreement?

Shen Qi didn’t speak and just ignored Xiao Su.

“You are here to persuade me too?” Shen Qi stared at her.
“I don’t want to, but that’s the best choice at the moment. I heard from Xiao Su that you are going to stand here for the entire night. If something really happens, you will be one who suffers, he won’t know, Young Lady. Even if you suffered, Young Master Ye won’t pity you.”
Shen Qi didn’t say a word and just looked in front quietly. “I want to wait here. It has nothing to do with whether he chooses to meet me or not, or whether he pities me or not. Shen Qi who was standing there was in a sleeveless dress and was standing there with no shelter. The wind blew through her dress and was hitting her skin. It was obvious that she would be freezing.
Xiao Su thought about it nd got a bottle of hot water from the house. He then walked toward Shen Qi.
“Young Lady, drink some hot water.”
Shen Qi looked at him, and her pink lips moved.
“I know you are owning up to your mistake, but if you collapse, you won’t be able to see Young Master Ye. For your own sake, you have to drink it.”
He had a point, so Shen Qi smiled at him and reached out to take the thermal flask. “Thank you.”
Just as she was about to take the bottle, Shen Qi’s body swayed and almost fell.
Fortunately, Xiao Su was agile and quickly helped her up. “Young Lady, are you okay?”
“I’m fine.” Shen Qi shook her head as she forced herself up.
Xiao Su finally let go of her after she balanced herself. Shen Qi took the flask and took a few sips. Instantly, warmth enveloped her entire body, and she didn’t feel as terrible as before.
“I feel much better. Thanks.” Shen Qi smiled at Xiao Su and gave the flask back to him.
Half of her body was actually numb. She underestimated the cold. Although it wasn’t winter yet, she was really freezing. Both her body and her heart was cold.

There were no stars at all. It was complete darkness just like her heart right now.
“It’s going to rain soon?”
Xiao Su looked at her for a moment and realized he couldn’t convince her. He suddenly ran inward.
He was walking too fast, and Shen Qi wouldn’t call him in time. Not long after he left, the rain poured down.
“Young Lady, come over here to take shelter from the rain.”
