He was so strong that Shen Qi’s resistance came to no avail, so she could only rebuke him loudly, “Ye Moxuan, what are you doing? Stop it!”

Shen Qi panicked and quickly reached out to grab his large hand. “Don’t unbutton my shirt!”
As the hot mist filled the bathroom, Ye Moxuan saw Shen Qi’s pale face start to turn into a shade of rosy red, and she became increasingly shy. He couldn’t help but curl his lips into a coy smile and teased, “If you don’t unbutton your shirt, how are you going to take a bath?”
Shen Qi’s face was as red as a tomato. She endured the urge to push Ye Moxuan away and stretched out her hand to protect the buttons on her flimsy shirt. “No, Ye Moxuan, don’t. Let me go.”
“Why are you so shy?” The more she resisted, the more Ye Moxuan wanted to get close to her. Both their clothes were already wet under the hot water. With a strong tug, he pulled her down to lie on him.
Shen Qi panicked and yelled out his full name, “Ye Moxuan!”
“Yeah?” he replied and sneaked his hand through the hem of her clothes.
“Don’t forget that you’ll be the one to suffer if you become aroused later!”
Ye Moxuan froze upon her warning, and even the smile at the corner of his mouth froze. After a while, he slowly loosened his restraint on Shen Qi.
Indeed. Even if I was aroused, I wouldn’t be able to touch her because of her conditions. Then why do I want to take a shower with her?
Upon thinking of this, Ye Moxuan smiled bitterly. “You are right. Go ahead and shower first. Come out after you’re done.”
With that, Ye Moxuan let go of her and turned around, exiting the bathroom.
Stunned, Shen Qi stared blankly at Ye Moxuan who went out even though his entire body was soaked, drops of water dripping from him as he walked out the door. She was utterly dumbfounded.
At first, she thought he would not relent—she didn’t expect him to let her go so soon.
For some reason, Shen Qi felt a little sorry when she saw his wet clothes, and she couldn’t help calling out to him, “Ye Moxuan—”
Ye Moxuan halted. After a while, he turned his head and looked at her gently. “Hurry and take a shower. I won’t leave you any mercy if you call me again.”
Then, he closed the door behind him, leaving Shen Qi alone in the bathroom. Considering that Ye Moxuan’s clothes were all wet, she quickly finished her shower, got changed, and went out.
The room was empty except for Zhu Yun who was wiping the water on the floor. She smiled when she saw Shen Qi. “You’re done, Young Lady? Please wait for a moment, I will blow your hair after finishing this.”
With that, she quickly bent over and started to work.
When Shen Qi saw how Zhu Yun was wiping the floor with her body bend in a difficult manner, her heart ached.
“It’s okay, I can do it myself. You can go back and rest as soon as you finish cleaning up. It’s already very late.”
Zhu Yun looked at Shen Qi with gratitude on her face upon hearing it. “Thank you, Young Lady. By the way, Young Master Ye is taking his shower in the next room.”
After Zhu Yun wiped the floor, she got up and went out again. Shen Qi thought she was going to rest, so she quickly took a dry towel to wipe her hair. After sitting for a while, Zhu Yun came back again with a cup in her hand before placing the cup in front of Shen Qi.
“I heard from Young Master Ye that your clothes were wet after sitting at the beach for a long time. I was afraid that you might catch a cold, so I specially made this drink for you to get warm. Please drink it while it is hot.”
Shen Qi uttered, “T-This—”
She paused for a while, feeling that everything was so surreal when she looked at the steam rising from the drink in front of her.
This was the first time in her entire life that she had been taken care of so well.
She had never thought that such a day would arrive.
“Thank you.” Shen Qi glanced at Zhu Yun gratefully and drank the hot drink.
Zhu Yun liked Shen Qi very much. Although she was her Young Lady, she didn’t put on airs. Both Ye Moxuan and Shen Qi were different from the other rich ladies and young masters who felt superior simply because they were rich. Just because they were rich, these spoiled brats never treated their maids fairly and would always scold them for mediocre mistakes.
Occasionally, the maids might even receive capital punishments for their mistakes, but there was nothing they could do about it.
All of them had to endure the harsh working environment for the sake of the big paycheck.
However, ever since the maids came here, they had enjoyed the freedom they had never experienced before. He would never criticize them as long as they did their job well.
To them, this man was like a god.
“Young Lady, please rest early after finishing the drink. I’ll see myself out now. Excuse me.”

After she left, Shen Qi continued to blow-dry her hair. Even after she was done blowing her hair and was about to rest, Ye Moxuan hadn’t come back yet. Therefore, she went to the next door to take a look, only to hear the sound of water flowing. Is he not done with his shower yet?
Shen Qi was way too sleepy to wait for him, so she went back to her room and lay down to sleep.

When Shen Qi woke up the next day, she found her mobile phone lying quietly on her bedside table, with a note left by Ye Moxuan on the table reminding her to eat breakfast.
A tinge of warmth flooded inside her upon the sight. It seemed that Ye Moxuan was finally willing to let her communicate with the outside world.
Shen Qi got up and went to freshen herself. When she was having her breakfast, Zhu Yun chatted with her but she found that Zhu Yun and the rest of them didn’t look very well.
“What’s wrong with you guys?” Shen Qi asked, perplexed.
Zhu Yun replied, “Everyone was looking for you for a long time last night, and they were shocked by what happened that they couldn’t sleep well. That’s why they seem to be tired.”
Shen Qi frowned. “Is that so? But I was in the villa the whole time. What actually happened?”
“Oh, Young Lady, don’t you know?” Zhu Yun illustrated yesterday’s incident to Shen Qi and only then did Shen Qi suddenly come to a realization.
No wonder Ye Moxuan pulled her into his arms and hugged her tightly when he found her. Not only that, he even muttered strange words to her. So, as it turned out, there was such an episode last night.
