Shen Qi stared at him with wide eyes. “Don’t touch me!”
With that, Shen Qi bit his thin lips.
A muffled sound ensued as the scent of blood filled their mouths.
Ye Moxuan retracted his lips when he felt the stinging pain.
“It seems that you not only like to bark indiscriminately, you even like to bite a person indiscriminately as well.”
Ye Moxuan smirked as he reached out his hand and wiped away the smile on his face. He was originally a handsome looking man. Usually, he had a cold expression on his face, but he looked really handsome when he smiled. This time, he had a bloodthirsty smile on his face which was akin to an angry lion. Coupled with the redness of his lips, he gave off a kind of sinister beauty.
Shen Qi finally found the opportunity to push him away as her petite figure shrank into the corner.
“Ye Moxuan, what do you think you are doing?! Don’t forget the terms and conditions we agreed upon. Didn’t you ask me not to touch you?! What do you think you are doing?!”
Ye Moxuan remained silent as he stared at her coldly.
Shen Qi adjusted her collar as she bit down on her lip and looked at him in defiance.
The more she did that, the more Ye Moxuan wanted to bully her. This was her second marriage, and she was pregnant with an illegitimate child. Why did he have to show mercy to such a woman?
When he heard that her life might be in danger, he canceled the operation immediately and brought her back.

Silence returned to the room as Shen Qi finally relaxed her anxious state of mind. She slid down weakly along the cold walls as she hugged her knees and cried in a soft voice.
When he heard her cries through the door, he stopped in his tracks. Following that, he smirked disdainfully.

However, Shen Qi still lived her life in terror. That was because she still had to go to the company to work as his assistant.

Shen Qi’s heart skipped a bit as she asked with uncertainty.
“O-Old Master Ye, you mean…”
“Moxuan is a cripple. Hence, it caused some changes in his mental state. As such, he is extremely cruel and acts improperly. Ye Group is a large corporation, and it cannot be ruined by his hands. The thing you need to do now is prevent him from doing anything that would harm the reputation of the Ye Group. However, since you are a woman, and you don’t know much, you have to report his daily schedule to me in time.”
Although Shen Qi wasn’t smart, she wasn’t dumb as well.
She understood the meaning behind Old Master Ye’s words as she replied subconsciously, “Old Master Ye, y-you want me to monitor him?”
