Tang Yuanyuan was still waiting, but Yuchi Yishu did not speak or take any actions, which made her feel that the request she made was too much.
As a result, Tang Yuanyuan’s hands which were holding on to Yuchi Yishu’s sleeves slowly slid down, as if she had lost her strength. Her eyelids drooped low, with a few crystal teardrops still hanging on her curly eyelashes.
Forget it, I was asking for too much..
I should wait till next time.
However, when Tang Yuanyuan’s hand dropped to the lowest point, she was suddenly caught by Yuchi Yishu’s opened palms. His huge palms were warm, and they instantly wrapped Tang Yuanyuan’s tiny hands.
Tang Yuanyuan was dumbfounded, and she subconsciously raised her head.
Yuchi Yishu’s handsome face that was in front of Tang Yuanyuan suddenly started to magnify till the point where she could only see his chin.
She felt a warm touch on her forehead.
Something exploded in Tang Yuanyuan’s mind, making her brain go blank. Losing her senses, she stood blankly and could not do anything else.
Yuchi Yishu’s lips didn’t stay for too long. It was just a gentle touch, like a dragonfly skimming through the surface of the water. There was a hint of youth in his kiss, but he quickly pulled away after that.
He then squeezed Tang Yuanyuan’s small hand and said with a dull voice, “Are you happy now?”
Tang Yuanyuan didn’t respond as she stood still in shock.
After waiting for a moment, Yuchi Yishu realized that her widely opened eyes were still fixated on himself, so he reached out his finger to tap on the tip of her nose. “What’s wrong with you? Weren’t you the one who asked me to kiss you?”
His act of intimacy made Tang Yuanyuan slowly regain her senses. She subconsciously bit her lower lip and calmed down for a moment before she got her voice back.
She indeed requested a kiss from him, but he didn’t seem to be willing to fulfill it earlier. Who knew that he would suddenly…
In short, Tang Yuanyuan’s heart was racing.
After Tang Yuanyuan regained her senses, a shade of faint cherry pink spread through her cheeks, ears, and neck. Eventually, Tang Yuanyuan broke away from Yuchi Yishu’s grip and ran away in embarrassment.
Yuchi Yishu paused for a moment and looked down at his palm which she pushed away. After a while, he reached to touch his lips, which retained traces of her warmth and scent.
A moment later, Yuchi Yishu burst out laughing.
If he knew from the start that he could satisfy her with just a forehead kiss, he wouldn’t have hesitated that long!
Then, Yuchi Yishu suddenly remembered something. He walked toward Tang Yuanyuan’s room door and gave it a knock.
“You’re not done with breakfast,” he said.
When he heard no response from the quiet room, he asked again, “Yuanyuan?”
“I’m full!” Tang Yuanyuan’s voice sounded a bit dull.
Yuchi Yishu guessed that she might be hiding under her quilt due to embarrassment. Since she had eaten quite a lot earlier, he didn’t continue to pester her and only reminded her, “Pack your things, we would be heading home later.”
They had stayed a night in the hotel, and he should send her back home as soon as possible to give her family an explanation of what had happened.
Yuchi Yishu no longer had an appetite to eat, but he had bought so much food earlier, and it would be a waste to not finish it. Therefore, he went back to the dining table to finish the leftovers before cleaning the table and putting the boxes into the bin.
It had almost been half an hour, but Tang Yuanyuan was still in her room. Yuchi Yishu had no choice but to walk toward her room and knock on the door again.
“Yuanyuan, are you done with packing?”
“I’m done, just give me another minute.”
A moment after Tang Yuanyuan answered his question from the room, she opened the room door and came out. She went straight to the bathroom and turned the faucet on, patting her face with cold water.
She didn’t know what was going on. It was just a forehead kiss which was so gentle and light, but how could she still blush for such a long time?
Tang Yuanyuan patted her face several times and took a deep breath. After a while, she realized that the heat on her face had subsided.
She then dried her face with a towel and went out of the bathroom.
It happened that Yuchi Yishu was standing outside of the bathroom. When he saw her coming out with the fringe on her forehead being a little damp, a smile flashed across his dark eye. “Are you ready?”
Tang Yuanyuan didn’t answer him. Instead, she he headed to her room and packed her things before walking out.
“I’m dont packing, Yishu. We can leave now.”
“Okay.”
Yuchi Yishu then left the hotel with Tang Yuanyuan.
Since they stayed at the hotel for the night before, Yuchi Yishu clearly had to send Tang Yuanyuan home first. However, on the way back home, he received a call from his mother.
“You little brat, where are you now? Are you getting ready to come home?”
“Yes.” Yuchi Yishu glanced at the traffic and nodded. “We are on the way back.”
“Where are you heading to?”
Yuchi Yishu looked toward Tang Yuanyuan who was sitting on the passenger seat next to him and said softly, “I’m sending her home, why?”
“You don’t need to send Tang Yuanyuan home. I have invited Mr. and Mrs. Tang to our house.”
Yuchi Yishu was confused.
“What do you mean?”
“What do I mean?” Yuchi Yishu’s mother sneered on the other side of the phone, “You brought Tang Yuanyuan to stay a night at the hotel. Shouldn’t we give her parents an explanation?”
Hearing that, Yuchi Yishu’s eyebrows frowned slowly, but because Yuanyuan was next to him, there were certain things which he found difficult to ask.
There happened to be a convenience store on the side of the road, so Yuchi Yishu stopped the car and toldTang Yuanyuan, “I’m going to get a bottle of water. Stay here and wait for me.”
“Okay.”
Tang Yuanyuan was actually still thinking about the forehead kiss earlier, so she didn’t particularly care about what happened around her. When Yuchi Yishu said he was going to buy water, she didn’t doubt anything and waited obediently.
After Yuchi Yishu got out of the car and closed the door with a slam, he went into the convenience store and took his phone out to give a call back to his mother.
“Hey, don’t you have the guts to admit what you did? Was that why you didn’t dare to discuss it in front of Yuanyuan?”
Although Yuchi Yishu had grown up, he still treated Han Muzi as he did when he was a child. However, he was too embarrassed to address Han Muzi as ‘mommy’ as he became more reserved and introverted.
“What are you trying to say? What did I do?”
“What did you do? Don’t you know what you did? Do you need me to tell you? Yuanyuan had only become an adult the day before and you had already brought her to stay the night out.”
Yuchi Yishu’s breath became heavier. “That was because it was raining heavily the night before and many places were flooded.”
“So what? Who cares what the reason was? All everyone knew was that you both stayed the night outside. You can definitely ignore the fact that it might affect your reputation, but what about Yuanyuan? Do you expect her to ignore it as well?”
Yuchi Yishu was at a loss for words.
“Okay, that’s enough of talking. Bring her home as soon as possible.”
“What’s going to happen when we reach home?” Yuchi Yishu had a feeling that something bad was going to happen.
“We have to discuss your engagement. Once you’re both engaged, it’s up to you how long you want to be out. It will no longer be a problem.”
Hearing that, Yuchi Yishu frowned in anger. “She has just become an adult and she hasn’t even got into a university. Do you expect her to be engaged now?”
