Tang Yuanyuan was sitting calmly on the merry-go-around but rushed toward Yuchi Yishu as soon as she got down.
“What’s wrong?”
She rebuked, “You said that I will always be a kid to you.”
“Huh? What?” He did not think that there was anything wrong with what he said so he could not see why she was angry.
“Did you forget what you promised me?”
“Huh?”
She wanted to talk about it but also felt embarrassed to ask. After all, she was still young and innocent. Even if she came to know about love in the future, she would still get shy about it.
Tang Yuanyuan stared at him without saying anything.
“What is it? Say it.”
He reached out to poke her head. “Why is there no sound anymore?”
After being poked, she looked up at him in anguish. “You forgot. What’s the point of saying it now?”
She turned around and was about to run away when he caught her wrist.
“What do you mean there’s no point? What did I forget? Didn’t I already do what I promised you?”
He paused for a moment and lowered his voice.
“I’ve stayed single until now. If I remember correctly, you told me I couldn’t find a girlfriend until you grew up. Right?”
Tang Yuanyuan froze.
It seemed like that was what she had said at the time. She thought that beautiful lady was Yishu’s girlfriend so she did not want him to find a girlfriend—at least not before she grew up as it was only fair to her that way.
It doesn’t seem like he has forgotten.
“Right?” he asked again when she did not respond after a while.
She nodded.
“So what do you mean that I forgot? Can you explain? Hmm?”
After a moment of silence, she looked up at him. “You said I will always be a kid to you. Does that mean I will never have a chance?”
Because who would be romantically involved with a kid?
They might like a kid, but it was a different kind of affection. That was why Tang Yuanyuan was sad.
“All because of that?”
“All because of that? Do you feel like it isn’t enough?”
“What? Is it not okay for me to adore you like a child?” He reached out to caress her head but saw that she had her hair done that day. If he caressed her head, he would have easily messed up her hair. He lowered his hand and gently tugged at the loose strands of hair around her.
“Also, who said you will never have a chance?”
Her eyes lit up. She wanted to say more, but he just dragged her along. “Let’s go to the next one.”
She crinkled her nose and bit her bottom lip.

She looked around. There was nothing in particular that she wanted to go on, but he already said he was going to take her around all day. After a while, she thought of something and was about to tell him.
“Do you want to go on the Ferris wheel?”

“Let’s go. I’ll buy the tickets.”
He went to get the tickets without her permission again. She just stood where she was helplessly. Because she sat on the Ferris wheel by herself last time, she felt sad and miserable all by herself too.
It was already quite hard for her to accept coming to the amusement park, much less go on the Ferris wheel.
Moreover, he was definitely not going to accompany her. She was going to have to go alone.

“Let’s go.”

“You’re going with me, Yishu?”

After they got their tickets checked, they went up the Ferris wheel.

“Sure.”
She lifted her phone. “Use mine.”
She opened a popular beautifying camera. Apparently, that camera could smoothen people’s skin, and edit pictures automatically. She only downloaded it because she was forced to so she had not used it before.

When he saw her opening a pink app on her phone, he squinted his eyes and asked, “What’s that?”
“It’s a camera app.”
She turned on the special effects and picked a few cute pictures. Once she was done, a pair of cute cat ears appeared over their faces on the screen. There was also a small mustache on the side of their faces.
Their appearances became livelier and cuter in an instant.
