Tang Yuanyuan remembered that that lady was similar to Yishu—she was tall and thin, although not as tall as Yishu. Even so, her figure was slender; she had make-up on, and her body smelled nice. Tang Yuanyuan didn’t know what other people thought, but she found the lady to be rather extraordinary. If only I could be like her.
Afterward, she searched around in her closet for suitable clothes, but she realized that all her clothes were childish and looked like clothes that little children would wear. She started to feel depressed after looking for a long time. As a result, she gave up on trying to find something suitable and decided to go downstairs to meet Yuchi Yishu, wearing whatever she had on currently.
“Yishu, it’s the new year. You’re 21 now. Time sure flies by so quickly.”
Yuchi Yishu pursed his lips and smiled faintly. “Yeah.”
“Yuanyuan was so tiny back then. Now, she’s 17. In another year, she would become an adult too.”
Mrs. Tang was trying to hint at him with the latter part of her sentence. Her daughter might be ignorant when it came to relationship matters, but he definitely was not. After all, this child matured early and was steady and down-to-earth. So, he probably understood what she was trying to imply.
Sure enough, he noticed that she was trying to hint at something. Unfortunately, he wasn’t sure what her words were trying to get at. Was she trying to point out that Yuanyuan is going to be an adult soon, so I should pay more attention? Or, something else?
“This girl; I went up to call for her just now and she said she was coming. Why isn’t she down yet? Maybe she has fallen asleep. Wait here for a moment.”
While she was talking, Tang Yuanyuan came downstairs. Today, she was dressed in a red-colored dress; her waist-length hair was tied up in a high ponytail and held together with a big, red bow. She looked extremely lovely and innocent.
“Mom; Yishu.”
“Yuanyuan is here.” Mrs. Tang smiled as she beckoned to her daughter. Then, Tang Yuanyuan nestled into her embrace. “Since we’ve had our reunion dinner, Yishu mentioned that he wanted to bring you to Snow Town this year.”
“Snow Town?”
“Yeah.” Yuchi Yishu nodded. “I’ve already prepared my luggage. We’ll drive there ourselves.”
He has already prepared his luggage? Tang Yuanyuan felt a little stunned, then she asked after giving it some thought, “If I didn’t want to go, would you have gone on your own?”
“Of course, not.”
Then, her face lit up with joy. “Wait for me for a bit, Yishu. I’ll go pack my stuff now.”
“Bring something thicker. It’s cold there.”

Afterward, she flew back upstairs to pack her luggage. Mrs. Tang pondered over it for a while, then she got up and said, “That child has never been to Snow Town. I’ll help her pack some warmer clothes. If we leave her be, she will definitely turn into a ball-shaped ice sculpture.”

Then, Yuchi Yishu’s phone started ringing out of the blue. He glanced at it and saw that Zhong Chufeng was calling him. “What’s up?”
“Yishu! Yishu! I’m so sorry, Yishu!” Zhong Chufeng’s voice was vexed and infuriated. “When my mother was talking to my uncle on the phone, she let slip that I was going to Snow Town. Now, my uncle’s daughter is making a huge ruckus about coming with me! What do we do, Yishu? I don’t want to bring her there! That brat talks too much!”
Yuchi Yishu did not respond, remaining silent.
“Now, my mother wants me to bring her along! She said that there were only the three of us anyway. So, it wouldn’t hurt to bring along another person. Besides, she could be a companion for Yuanyuan. After all, if we stayed outside, Yuanyuan would have to sleep alone.”
