Zhong Chufeng pouted when Yuchi Yishu gave him a cold stare. “Was that necessary? Why can’t I look at her text too? She’s not even your biological sister anyway. Are you going to dig my eyes out when I see her later when we go over to her school and help her unpack?”
However, Zhong Chufeng did not look through Yuchi Yishu’s phone in the end and chose to look around.
When Yuchi Yishu unlocked his phone, he saw the text message that Tang Yuanyuan sent him.
‘Yishu, are you at school now?’
Maybe because Tang Yuanyuan did not receive a reply after a long time, she added another confused emoji at the end of the text. The corner of Yuchi Yishu’s lips curled up when he saw that expression.
He could already imagine that little girl’s confused face as she would widen her eyes while her rosy face looked at him in confusion.
Yuchi Yishu typed with one hand.
‘I’m reaching. Just wait a little longer.’
Tang Yuanyuan replied quickly.
‘Alright!’
It took the public bus almost an hour before they reached the school.
Zhong Chufeng stared at the school entrance with nostalgia.
“I can’t believe a sophomore like me would have another chance to take a look at a high school. These are all our juniors who just entered high school! The thought of it excites me!”
Then, Zhong Chufeng slung his arm on Yuchi Yishu’s shoulder.
“Yishu, what do you think about me getting a junior to be my girlfriend?”
Yuchi Yishu immediately gave him a sharp glare.
“Are you a pervert?”
“What the f*ck! What do you mean by a pervert?” Zhong Chufeng got triggered at what Yuchi Yishu called him. “They’re just a few years younger! How am I a pervert?!”
Yuchi Yishu pushed Zhong Chufeng’s arm away before he made his way to the school entrance.
There were many junior high schoolers at the entrance of the school. Some of them were sent by their parents, while others came by themselves.
Yuchi Yishu stood by the wall of the right corner of the school entrance. The sight of a good looking slender young man in his baseball uniform standing by the right corner of the school entrance was a sight to see.
When Tang Yuanyuan reached the school and glanced at the school entrance, she’d immediately spotted Yuchi Yishu, who was standing by the entrance’s right corner.
“Yishu!”
A big smile was plastered on Tang Yuanyuan’s face as she got out of the car and ran excitedly toward him before yelling, “Yishu!”
Yuchi Yishu heard a young girl’s voice rang out before he wanted to text the little girl to ask whether she had reached. When Yuchi Yishu looked up, he saw Tang Yuanyuan in a yellow floral dress. Her soft black hair was tied up in a high ponytail as the hems of her dress and her fringe swayed as she ran over. Tang Yuanyuan looked like a full-blown young girl now.
“Yo, the little girl looks so pretty now,” Zhong Chufeng complimented as he grinned cheekily.
“Yishu!”
Tang Yuanyuan finally reached Yuchi Yishu as her dark eyes shone with excitement and happiness when she saw him. “Have you been waiting for a long time?”
“Nope.” Yuchi Yishu placed his phone back in his pocket. “Chufeng and I just reached.”
Tang Yuanyuan only noticed Zhong Chufeng standing at his side when she heard his name and smiled sweetly at him. “Chufeng!”
Zhong Chufeng huffed, “You can only see Yishu. I’ve been standing here since just now, but you completely ignored me!”
Tang Yuanyuan explained awkwardly, “I didn’t see you before because you stood quite far away.”
“Come on, Yishu stood very far away too! You ungrateful kid!”
Right when Tang Yuanyuan wanted to defend herself, Yuchi Yishu walked over and pressed on her head. “Aren’t you hot? Do you still have time to b*llshit with him?”
Uncle Zhang had already opened the car trunk and took all of Tang Yuanyuan’s luggage out.
Zhong Chufeng initially thought that Tang Yuanyuan probably didn’t have much to bring. However, his eyes widened when he saw that Uncle Zhang took two huge pieces of luggage from the car trunk.
“That’s so huge! There’s two of it too! Yuanyuan, what did you even put in these?”
Tang Yuanyuan felt guilty when she heard his questions. “M-My clothes, of course! Girls usually bring many things anyway.”
“Really?” Zhong Chufeng raised his eyebrows. “Are you sure you’re just like other girls? Are you sure you only packed clothes and essentials here instead of food?”
Tang Yuanyuan exclaimed, “Chufeng!”
Then, Tang Yuanyuan went closer to Yuchi Yishu and pulled on his hands before calling him with an upset tone, “Yishu.”
Yuchi Yishu immediately gave Zhong Chufeng a cold look.
“Zhong Chufeng, do not bully her.”
Zhong Chufeng pouted. However, he really liked Tang Yuanyuan’s chubby look. How could this little girl look so cute being this chubby? Although she wasn’t skinny, her facial features were intricate. She also had good skin, making her look lively. Tang Yuanyuan gave off a youthful feeling.
That was why Zhong Chufeng really wanted to tease her. However, every time he teased Tang Yuanyuan, she’d hide behind Yuchi Yishu. Sigh.
Yuchi Yishu took the two suitcases before handing one over to Zhong Chufeng.
“Do you know which dorm are you staying in?”
“I do, but can we wait a little longer, Yishu? I have a friend reaching soon, and she took her luggage over as well.”
Right when she finished, another girl pulling on her luggage not far away waved at them.
“Yuanyuan!”
Tang Yuanyuan’s face brightened up at that. “It’s Fei!”
She turned around and returned the wave to the girl before calling out, “Fei, come over!”
Meng Kefei got nervous when she saw the two tall and slender looking young men standing next to Tang Yuanyuan from afar. However, she still sucked it up and tried to calm herself down before heading over to them.
“Yishu, let me introduce you to my best friend, Meng Kefei. Fei, this is Yishu. This is Chufeng.”
Meng Kefei nodded shyly at them. “Hello, nice to meet you guys!”
“Hi, Kefei!” Zhong Chufeng grinned cheekily and waved at her.
On the other hand, Yuchi Yishu was slightly cold as he nodded at her. “Hello.”
Zhong Chufeng went over and offered to carry Meng Kefei’s luggage for her, “Kefei, let me help you.”
Zhong Chufeng was tall and lean. Meng Kefei immediately blushed when he came closer to her. “It’s fine, it’s fine. I can carry it myself.”
“It’s alright. We need to be nicer to girls anyway. I can handle it.”
Then, Zhong Chufeng took over Meng Kefei’s luggage.
Meng Kefei’s luggage was weighty. However, since both young men were from the police academy, they’ve trained a lot, so two pieces of luggage were effortless for them. Moreover, they didn’t need to carry the luggage until they reached the stairs anyway.
Meng Kefei could only accept his help, seeing that he wouldn’t give her a chance to reject him. Therefore, she merely stood next to Tang Yuanyuan with a red face.
“Don’t be worried, Fei. They are here to help us unpack today anyway. Let’s go.”
After that, the two young men brought the girls toward the dormitory area.
Although they faced some difficulties looking for their dorm, Tang Yuanyuan and Meng Kefei were relieved that they didn’t have to carry their luggage.
