Liang Yahe finally couldn’t control her tears anymore, and a great sob escaped her as she covered her face with her hands. Jiang Xiaobai’s heart sank into her boots as she looked at Liang Yahe’s tear-streaked face, but there was nothing she could do.
She stood rooted to the ground and could only wait for Liang Yahe to finish crying. The latter then stood up and said, “Just go now, when Xiao Su isn’t back yet. When he’s home, I’ll explain it to him.”

Jiang Xiaobai carried her son and left. Liang Yahe dared not turn her head to look at them. She was afraid that if she glanced at them even one more time, she wouldn’t be able to stop herself from rushing up to stop them.
Liang Yahe was a mother as well, so she would definitely side with Xiao Su. But since she was aware of this, she tried seeing from Jiang Xiaobai’s point of view as well. Jiang Xiaobai was a mother too, so she would definitely want to be with her own kid.
If Jiang Xiaobai wanted a divorce, she would definitely wish to raise her son if she had the means to.

Even when the door slammed shut, Liang Yahe still sat motionless on the couch.

“What do you mean by forcing her?” Liang Yahe couldn’t seem to understand her son at all. She was dumbfounded by what he said and pushed at his shoulder. “You’re the kid’s father. You’re striving for happiness, not forcing her. Do you understand?”
“Mom, don’t say anything anymore.”
Xiao Su pushed her hand aside and turned away to enter his room.
He locked himself in the room and closed his eyes to ponder about everything. For six months, he had tried his utmost to calm down and not disturb Jiang Xiaobai, but what did he get in the end? Jiang Xiaobai had returned and taken the kid away with her. To tell the truth, if this really was her decision, he had no way of stopping her either.
After all, during Jiang Xiaobai’s confinement period, she was by his side, but she wasn’t happy at all.
