Before Jiang Xiaobai could reply, Liang Yahe scolded again, “What else were you expecting? For her to wait there until you returned? Don’t you know that she’s pregnant? Won’t she get tired of waiting outside? Xiao Su, are you aware that you’re her husband? Don’t you know that your wife is carrying a child? She’s about to deliver soon, yet you just ran away like that. Will you be able to handle the consequences if something bad were to happen to her?”
Feeling uneasy, he didn’t say anything and simply listened without refuting.
“Why aren’t you saying anything? Shouldn’t you say sorry to Xiaobai after abandoning her there?”
