Three days later, Xiao Su brought Jiang Xiaobai back to visit her family. After staying for a day, they went abroad for their honeymoon. For their honeymoon, they did not sign up for group tours. Instead, they opted for a free and easy holiday. Taking Jiang Xiaobai’s easy-going attitude into consideration, Xiao Su bought one-way tickets after much thought. He did not buy any return tickets as he intended to travel with her to her heart’s desire.
Although they were on their honeymoon, Jiang Xiaobai diligently packed her laptop and notebook. When they were done packing, Xiao Su looked at her sideways and asked, “Why are you bringing all of these with you?”
Jiang Xiaobai explained, “These are my life. I have to bring them along.”
“Even if you take them with you, will you have time to use them?” Seeing that she was still bent over working away tirelessly, Xiao Su reached out and grasped her collar before pulling her gently to his side. “Please don’t work now. We’ve just arrived; let’s familiarize ourselves with this place first. Besides, you haven’t eaten anything on the plane just now. Aren’t you hungry?”
In a rush to unpack her own luggage, it was only then that Jiang Xiaobai realized she really was hungry. “Okay.” She put her things away for the time being.
Jiang Xiaobai then put on a camisole dress that she pulled out from her luggage. Because the weather was chilly in their own country and Jiang Xiaobai liked places with warm weather, in the end, the both of them decided to go to Thailand for their honeymoon.
Seeing how she was not working away on her laptop now, Xiao Su breathed a sigh of relief. But as soon as he saw her wearing the camisole dress, he became angry again. He immediately stood in her path. “Are you planning to go out dressed like this?”
Jiang Xiaobai nodded her head. “Is something wrong?” Is there anything wrong with it?
Upon hearing that, Xiao Su frowned. When she went to the bar back then, all she wore was a loose T-shirt and a pair of baggy pants. She didn’t look feminine at all, so why is she putting on a dress now? To top it off, a camisole dress that reveals huge parts of her snowy white skin. The hem of the dress doesn’t even reach her knees! This was totally unacceptable for Xiao Su. “No, you can’t go out dressed like this.”
“Why not?” Jiang Xiaobai widened her eyes in disbelief. “Don’t tell me you’re disagreeing with me just because what I’m wearing is too revealing?”
Jiang Xiaobai was spot on, but Xiao Su was unwilling to admit it. As his ears flushed red, he only managed to say, “No, I’m not. It’s just that the sun here is blazing hot. What if you get sunburned while wearing this dress?”
“Oh.” Looking indifferent, Jiang Xiaobai took out her sunscreen and proceeded to apply it all over her body. She assured Xiao Su while doing so, “Don’t worry, I have sunscreen. It’ll protect me from the sun.”
Xiao Su was speechless for a moment. He thought Jiang Xiaobai would at least take notice of it and change into something with longer sleeves. He was baffled when she took out her sunscreen instead.
Seeing his expression, Jiang Xiaobai took out the sunscreen and waved in front of him. “Don’t you know what this is?”
Xiao Su reached out and took it from her hands. Glancing at it, he kept it in his pocket. “I know. Even though you’re wearing sunscreen, the heat here is different from home. I think it’s best you wear sun protective clothing.” And with that, regardless of whether Jiang Xiaobai agreed or not, he took out a sun protective jacket and prepared to put it on Jiang Xiaobai.
“Tell me the truth. Are you afraid that if I go out dressed like this, people would look at me and you’d get jealous?”

“What age do we live in? Most girls are dressed this way. Besides, I think it’s way too hot here. What if I get a heatstroke from wearing too much? I didn’t dress this way just for show, you know. Plus, I’m not revealing anything. I’ve covered all the parts that should be covered.”
Although she wasn’t wrong, when Xiao Su’s gaze fell on Jiang Xiaobai, all he could see was large expanses of her snow-white skin. She was already fair to begin with, and compared to the locals, her skin was even fairer. If she went out dressed like this, God knows how much attention she’d attract. Or perhaps it might just be him overthinking. Nevertheless, he disliked the prospect. “Even so, you can’t go out dressed like this.” Xiao Su pursed his lips as he gazed deeply at her. “When we first met, your style of dressing wasn’t like this. Why has it changed so much?”
“What style of dressing?” Jiang Xiaobai couldn’t help but roll her eyes at him. “Since when did I have a dressing style? I’ll wear anything that’s comfortable for me. But of course, I pay extra attention for important occasions. Now, come on, let’s go!” Jiang Xiaobai clutched onto Xiao Su’s arm while trying to drag him out. But Xiao Su stood still, his face livid, saying, “I’m not going anymore.”
“Huh?” Before Jiang Xiaobai had the chance to ask, she was carried and thrown onto the soft large bed, with Xiao Su’s body pressing down on her.
“Since you’re dressed like this, let’s not go anywhere. We’ll stay here and do something else.” Without giving Jiang Xiaobai a chance to react, Xiao Su sealed her lips quickly with his.
It was too late for Jiang Xiaobai to protest. Her eyes opened wide, and just as she was about to say something, she felt her dress being lifted. “Ah! Stop right there, Xiao Su! I want to go out. Can’t you just let me change my clothes? I’m not wearing this dress anymore. Wait!”

And so, the newlywed spent their first day in Thailand at the hotel.
As evening approached, Jiang Xiaobai did not feel like going downstairs to eat. Even though there was a buffet at the hotel, she would still have to go there personally if she wanted to eat. But since she did not want to move at all, Xiao Su could only call for room service. It wasn’t until the food was placed in front of Jiang Xiaobai that she slowly got up. Just when she wanted to put on her dress, she found out that it was in tatters.
Jiang Xiaobai laughed grimly in her head. Then, she rubbed the torn-up clothing in Xiao Su’s face. “You did it on purpose!” He must have destroyed the dress on purpose just so she could never wear it again.
