Despite everything, Jiang Xiaobai was still a girl who was slightly full of herself.

Jiang Xiaobai’s gown was heavy, and the photographer requested her to make different poses for the photoshoot. She was quite cooperative at first, but after a set of photos, she became exhausted.

Upon hearing, Xu Yifei went through her handbag and found a piece of bread. “Have this. I brought it along this morning in case I felt hungry, but there’s still a bit left.”
The bread looked dry as well. In fact, Jiang Xiaobai wanted a bowl of hot soup, but she couldn’t go anywhere for the moment. Furthermore, if she ate it she would have to brush her teeth, and that would definitely affect her makeup.

Fang Tangtang, on the other hand, was extremely excited today. She kept posting photos of Jiang Xiaobai, the room decorations and her own selfies on her social media.
Seeing that, Jiang Xiaobai couldn’t help but ask, “Did you manage to get the number of your Prince Charming?”
Fang Tangtang was stunned.
“How did you know that?”
“You were never the type to post photos on your social media, but today you have been posting a lot. Out of all those photos, only two of them had me in it. Others were all yours.”
Fang Tangtang let out a delicate cough, and embraced her happily. “My dear friend, you’re going to start your married life soon, but I’m still single. Do let me take this opportunity to post.”
“Stop it. When did I stop you from posting anything? It’s just that you didn’t even tell me what’s the current progress. How are things going?”
“Hmm, I’m currently still a fan of that young boy. Although he still has not made it to the top, I believe that one day he would be able to get on a stage where everyone can see him shine!”
“If so, in time to come he will only grow further from you.”
“I don’t mind. I love seeing him on stage, and it wouldn’t matter even if it’s slightly further away.”
Fang Tangtang cupped her cheeks and looked at Jiang Xiaobai. “I’m so jealous of you for being able to find your Mr. Right so soon. Jiang Xiaobai’s face was burning red. “What are you talking about? How could I be pregnant in such a short time?”
“Didn’t you guys do it last time? You’re still not pregnant yet?” Fang Tangtang whispered into her ear, “Seems like your man isn’t good at it since nothing happened.”
Jiang Xiaobai was thunderstruck.
“How could a single lady like you be more dirty-minded than I am?”
Fang Tangtang merely chuckled when she heard that.
Soon, someone knocked on the door, and everyone started to get excited.
“The groom is here! He has to answer our questions correctly before we can let him in. Not to mention giving us red envelopes too!”
Everyone was so excited. Suddenly, someone handed a letter to Jiang Xiaobai.
“This is a letter of assurance. The groom will read it to you later.”
Jiang Xiaobai glanced at the letter. On it were promises on how her husband would treat her well as if she was the Queen.
Would Xiao Su be willing to read all these cheesy promises?
Jiang Xiaobai wanted to laugh as her mind conjured up the image of Xiao Su reading that letter to her. Meanwhile, everyone outside the room was enjoying their time with the groom.
Although Xu Yifei didn’t know any of the guests, she was Jiang Xiaobai’s close friend. Coupled with her abilities as an editor, she was able to lead the crowd and bring up the atmosphere.
Xiao Su had two groomsmen, who were both his relatives. One of them was an honest guy, while the other one was good at handling the jokes thrown by Xu Yifei.
In the end, Xiao Su had to give a lot of red envelopes before they were willing to open the door for him.
Once Xiao Su and his groomsmen entered the house, they were given a task to find Jiang Xiaobai’s shoes.
It didn’t take them long to find the right shoe.
Jiang Xiaobai sat on the bed as she watched the scene, her lips curving into a smile.
She had never imagined that there would come a day where Xiao Su would come to pick her up in a matching-colored outfit. Xiao Su had dark hair and eyes. Today, his pair of dark eyes were shining brightly, further accentuated by his elegantly straight nose and thin lips. With makeup on, the scar was less obvious, making his facial features more gentle and not as vicious as they used to be.
Xiao Su’s gaze met Jiang Xiaobai as the both of them stared at each other from a distance. Xiao Su’s eyes sparkled the moment he saw Jiang Xiaobai.
He always knew that Jiang Xiaobai was stunning, but she wasn’t the type to dress up on a daily basis. There were only a handful of times where he saw her in a dress, when they attended a ball and the wedding. He could still remember the day when she went to the bar and danced on stage in her dress, and he was enchanted by her.
As she sat there in her wedding gown, her fair skin glowed in contrast to the bright red of the gown. Her lashes were slightly curled, her eyes dazzling and her lips had a bright shade of lipstick on.
He could stare at her forever.
Lips pursed with his eyes sparkling, Xiao Su walked toward Jiang Xiaobai.
“I’m here.”
Upon hearing these words, Jiang Xiaobai felt as if her heart was tickled by a feather.
