Nothing To Give But My Heart Chapter 1486

Frowning, Xiao Su gave it a thought and said, “Maybe? Perhaps we were switched at birth. I’m not their biological son.”

Hearing that, Jiang Xiaobai turned around and met with his gaze before mocking, “I was just joking with you. Did you take it seriously?”

“I was joking as well.”

“You’re lying. Were you joking with a straight face? It’s so corny!” Jiang Xiaobai extended her finger and poked his chest. Xiao Su grabbed her finger and pulled her into his arms. Resting his chin on her head, he persuaded, “Let’s sleep. We have busy days ahead.”

The actual wedding date seemed to be the busiest day, but when Jiang Xiaobai became a bride-to-be herself, she learned that there were still a lot to prepare.

They had to prepare for a new house as well.

However, Liang Yahe already bought a new house for them. Upon taking a look at the house, Jiang Xiaobai found the location wonderful, but they needed to buy new furniture.

Therefore, during this period of time, other than preparing for the wedding, Jiang Xiaobai had to decorate the new house as well. She and Xiao Su personally went to shop for a couch, bed, dinner table and other necessities.

She also ordered many unique ornaments online.

They still had to get to work, for their days off were reserved for their honeymoon.

Hence, they left home early and came back late every day.

They also had to send out invitation cards and wedding sweets to inform their friends and relatives about it.

Han Muzi, Ye Moxuan, Han Qing and Yan were among the invited. Jiang Xiaobai took away the invitation card for Yan and said to Xiao Su, “You’ll send the card to Young Master and Young Lady Ye, and I’ll send this.”

Xiao Su looked at her with hesitance.

“What? It’s easier this way. I have nothing to do today anyway. If you’re busy, you can give the invitation card for Young Master Ye to me.”

Xiao Su remained silent as he pulled her into his arms and whispered in her ear, “I’m sorry.”

Jiang Xiaobai offered to send the card to Yan because she knew that the tie in his heart wasn’t untied yet. He had to admit that Jiang Xiaobai was a magnanimous woman.

He probably wouldn’t meet a woman like her again in his life.

Knowing what was on his mind, Jiang Xiaobai wasn’t angry or unreasonable as she said kindly, “If you truly feel sorry, then treat me better and don’t betray me. If you do…”

She paused for a moment and said fiercely, “I’ll leave you and go somewhere you’ll never find me.”

Xiao Su’s heart skipped a beat when he heard that. Moving away, he frowned and said, “I don’t want you to say such things again.”

Jiang Xiaobai raised an eyebrow. “What are you afraid of? As long as you don’t betray me, I won’t leave you and won’t go somewhere you can’t find me.”

“Anyway, don’t say such things again.”

What she said a moment ago reminded Xiao Su of what the fortune teller predicted. He didn’t want them to end up parting ways.

He pulled her into his arms and hugged her tightly.

Jiang Xiaobai hadn’t figured out what was going on when she was hugged tightly. He was so forceful that as though he was trying to merge her body with his own. He also clenched her waist hard.

It’s just a joke, but this guy is so scared. It seems that he cares about me more now.

Jiang Xiaobai’s grin widened when she thought about it. She patted his back as though she was coaxing a child.

“Alright, I won’t say that again.”

He’s a good man. I don’t think he’ll betray me.

Jiang Xiaobai called Yan with her own phone. When Yan learned that Jiang Xiaobai was coming to send her an invitation card, she immediately sent her location to the latter and waited for her outside the house.

Han Qing was worried, therefore he went out and waited with her.

The moment Jiang Xiaobai stepped out of the car, she saw Yan standing with a tall and handsome man. Despite his looks, he gave off an indifferent feeling and didn’t seem to be a friendly guy.

Seeing Jiang Xiaobai, Yan waved her hand vigorously.

Jiang Xiaobai trotted over and flashed a smile to her.

“Hi, I’m Xiaobai.”

“Hello, Xiaobai. I’m Yan, and this is my husband Han Qing.”

After Yan pushed Han Qing, the latter softened a little and extended his hand to Jiang Xiaobai. “Hi.”

“Hello.” Jiang Xiaobai slightly touched his palm and withdrew her hand.

They greeted each other politely without too much bodily touch.

Then, Yan led Jiang Xiaobai into the house. Han Qing tagged along because he was afraid that something would happen to Yan.

Yan said to Han Qing, “This is Xiaobai. She’s the girlfriend of Xiao Su. They’re going to marry, so she’s here to pass me the invitation card.”

At the mention of Xiao Su, Han Qing was shocked and remembered Jiang Xiaobai as well. He recalled that when he came into a brawl with Xiao Su outside the emergency room, Jiang Xiaobai was there as well.

Upon witnessing that her boyfriend got into a fight for another woman, was she still going to marry him?

After what happened previously, Han Qing could see that Xiao Su still had feelings for Yan. But now…

Thinking of that, Han Qing found that Xiao Su was a bad person, therefore he pressed his lips together and remained silent.

However, Jiang Xiaobai could read his mind through his gaze. Now that she was going to marry Xiao Su, she didn’t want Han Qing to misunderstand her man, therefore she said directly, “We met before when you were in the emergency room. Xiao Su even got into a fight with him for you.”

Yan was embarrassed at the mention of that incident, and wasn’t sure what to say.

Han Qing turned to Jiang Xiaobai and stared straight into her eyes.

“But that was in the past. Xiao Su is in love with me now, so you don’t have to worry that he’ll snatch your woman again. And Yan, you don’t have to worry that he’ll pester you.”

Yan never expected that Jiang Xiaobai would talk about it openly, hence she could only put on an awkward smile.

“Relax. I don’t have any ill intention for any of you. I mentioned this incident because I hope there will not be any grudges between you guys. You may think this is awkward now, but in the future you’ll find that this is just a small matter.”

If she never talked about it, they would feel embarrassed every time they met up. Now that the matter was resolved for good, the awkwardness was only temporary.

Upon hearing what she said, Yan put on a heartfelt smile.

“You have a good attitude there. I’ll have peace of mind since you don’t mind it.”
