Jiang Xiaobai was brought out of the pub on Xiao Su’s shoulders.

No one replied to her and the scenery before her continued to change.
Jiang Xiaobai was enraged, so she continued to scold him, “Why did you even pay the bill and be the fool? Do you really think that you’re rich? Does it even concern you that I want to dance with another man for an hour? Is there even a need for you to take action? Put me down. I want to walk by myself. Put me down now! It seemed like Xiao Su could no longer stand her nagging; he finally stopped and put Jiang Xiaobai gently onto the ground.
When Jiang Xiaobai felt her feet on the ground, she gave Xiao Su a fierce glare and turned around to walk away.
“If you dare to run away again, I’ll bring you home by carrying you on my shoulders once more.”
Upon hearing his words, Jiang Xiaobai stopped in her tracks. She turned her head to glare at Xiao Su. “Are you threatening me now?”
Xiao Su took a few steps forward until he was close to her. “It’s not a threat. However, it was a complex environment in the pub; you don’t know what sort of people you meet in places like that, and I was worried about leaving you alone there.”
“You can go there and make yourself drunk, but I can’t go there for a dance? How bossy you are!”
“That’s because I’m your boyfriend now. If you weren’t my girlfriend, do you think that I’ll be this bossy with you?”
“Xiao Su, please be clear of the situation now. Why do I need to listen to you when you didn’t even listen to me previously? Does being my boyfriend give you the authority to do so? If you wish to control me just because you’re my boyfriend, we can just break up.”
Jiang Xiaobai felt calm when she spoke the last sentence.

With that, Jiang Xiaobai did not know whether she was feeling mocked or finding the situation funny; she couldn’t help but laugh until she felt tears welling up in her eyes.
Then, she raised her head and looked at Xiao Su with a pair of red-rimmed eyes. “Can you tell whether there’s a girlfriend who’s as pathetic as me?”
