Initially, Ye Moxuan was not aware of what she was referring to, but he soon realized with a start that she was referring to the contract that they both had signed.
Ye Moxuan was blinded by rage in an instant, and he bellowed, “Are you still thinking about that contract?”
Shen Qi’s back was facing him, and she flinched when she heard that, but she nodded soon after in agreement.

That contract was just like a border, which separated Ye Moxuan and herself, and as long as that contract was valid, she would be able to suppress her feelings and prevent her heart from going haywire.
“Are you saying that you are kicking up a fuss because of that contract?” Ye Moxuan asked in a light tone when he seemed to have realized something.
“No, I’m not.” Shen Qi’s reply erased the last ray of hope in Ye Moxuan’s heart.
His eyes, which were shining brightly earlier, became dull instantly, and they looked like a sky of stars that were suddenly covered by dark clouds, and everything simply looked dull and colorless.
Shen Qi sensed the cold aura from the man behind her, and the temperature of her surroundings seemed to be dropping as well. When she was done spreading her blanket, she went ahead and lay down on the bed.
The two of them remained silent despite sharing a room together.
Shen Qi couldn’t fall asleep tonight, but it was possible that it was due to the scent of the new blanket. Sleep seemed to elude her, and it wasn’t until the wee hours that she finally fell asleep.
In her dreams, there seemed to be a pair of wolf eyes staring at her fiercely, and it sent chills down Shen Qi’s spine. She couldn’t help but shiver at the menacing eyes. Why would an evil wolf stare at me?
She tried retreating backward reflexively, but after taking a step backward, she realized that there was an endless abyss right behind her, and she stepped onto nothing before free-falling downward.
Shen Qi woke with a start, and she was drenched in cold sweat.
When she opened her eyes, Shen Qi realized that the atmosphere didn’t feel right. She scanned the room and was greeted abruptly by a pair of cold, steely eyes, which were similar to that of a wolf’s. That person’s eyes were bloodshot; it was almost as if the red vessels in the whites of his eyes had cracked, and they looked just like the eyes she dreamed about earlier.
Those eyes belonged to Ye Moxuan.
Shen Qi grabbed her blanket and sat up straight in shock. Gone was her initial sleepiness the moment she saw Ye Moxuan’s horrifying look.
One couldn’t possibly imagine because Ye Moxuan looked like a savage and ferocious wolf. It was as though he might pounce on her anytime and rip her apart.
“Wh-What are you doing?”

Ye Moxuan glared at her unblinkingly with his bloodshot eyes. “Miss Second-marriage, how dare you cheat on me?”
“What are you talking about?” Shen Qi’s heart started racing because he startled her badly the moment she woke up.

He tossed a stack of photographs in front of Shen Qi, and initially, Shen Qi had no idea what they were. Hence, she looked at the photographs tentatively before picking them up.
Shen Qi’s eyes bulged in shock when she saw the photos, and she stared at the person in the picture in disbelief.
Doesn’t this look like the time when I was having hot pot with Ye Linhan yesterday? W-Why were we photographed?
No wonder I had an inkling that someone was following me yesterday afternoon, and I wasn’t delusional after all!
“Who gave you these photos?” Shen Qi asked anxiously.
Ye Moxuan sneered, “Are you panicking?”
Shen Qi lifted her blanket away before standing up. “It’s not what you think. Please don’t believe what you see in these photos. I…”
“Are these photographs fake?” Ye Moxuan asked with a smirk. “Huh?”
“They aren’t fake, but it’s definitely not what you think. I was just having a meal with Linhan, and I did not cheat on you.”
She approached Ye Moxuan while trying to explain to him, but Ye Moxuan lifted his hand and pulled her into his embrace. His warm hand held onto her tiny waist, whereas the other hand lifted her chin up.
“It’s a meal this time, what will it be the next? Will you be spending some time in the hotel?” Ye Moxuan’s eyes were filled with hostility, and his rage felt almost as if it might burn Shen Qi alive.
“Ye Moxuan, let go of me. You better stop humiliating me with words. Linhan and I are innocent, and we were just having a meal together.”
“Is that so?” Ye Moxuan laughed dryly while pinching her chin harder. “How dare a woman of your stature claim to be innocent? If I don’t teach you a lesson, I don’t think you’d know your place.”
“You are hurting me. Let go—uh.”
Before she could finish her sentence, Ye Moxuan sealed her lips with his.

Shen Qi’s eyes widened in surprise, and she twisted her body to try to get away from him. However, she was sitting on Ye Moxuan’s lap, and her struggles were just adding fuel to the fire. Her soft body was rubbing against Ye Moxuan’s body through the thin cloth, and she effectively ignited the lust in Ye Moxuan.
He deepened his kisses, and his breath was becoming labored. He tightened his grip around her waist, whereas the other ripped apart her pajamas violently.

She wanted to cry out in shock, but her voice was muffled by Ye Moxuan’s mouth.
He forced his tongue between her teeth, and his tongue slithered into her mouth. Shen Qi jerked because she felt almost as though she was electrocuted when his tongue came into contact with hers. The warmth and buzzy feeling radiated from her heart to her entire body.
Shen Qi wanted to push him away, but he tightened his grip around her waist, bringing her closer to him gradually until there was no space left between the both of them.
Shen Qi was terrified of Ye Moxuan when he behaved like this because it was as if he was the devil himself.
He tugged at her clothes until all her clothes were scattered across the floor before withdrawing his kiss. He pressed his forehead against her while panting. “Say it. Do you want me?”
His forceful plundering rendered Shen Qi lightheaded, and she was almost blinded by her feelings. However, she came to her senses the moment she heard his hoarse voice. She bit her lower lip while staring back at Ye Moxuan without answering him.
There was no space between the two of them, and he pressed against her on purpose. “Say it.”
She had to admit that Ye Moxuan was undoubtedly skillful because he had already caused some changes in Shen Qi’s body, and after his earlier stimulation, she almost lost herself and screamed in agony for him.
Ye Moxuan’s dark eyes were burning with desire for her, and his handsome facial features were accentuated with a hint of evil charm under these circumstances. “You aren’t going to say it?”
Shen Qi bit her lower lip hard while staring back at him stubbornly. Her gaze screamed, I will not say it. I will not say it even if I die!
“All right then,” Ye Moxuan’s voice became huskier. “That’s fine if you don’t want to say it. Reserve your energy.”
Shen Qi remained silent, but by the time she realized what he meant, Ye Moxuan had already entered her.

Shen Qi blushed furiously at his remark, and her ears turned bright pink as well. Ye Moxuan found it adorable, so he bit her ear playfully.
“Ah, Ye Moxuan, l-let go of me right now.”
“Let go of you? Are you sure?” His movements caused Shen Qi’s toes to curl in excitement.
