Xiao Su realized that Jiang Xiaobai was ignoring his words on purpose. He recalled what he did earlier and felt that it was really a little overbearing. He wanted to apologize, but he didn’t know what else to say. In the end, he asked her a question.
“Do you still want a goodnight kiss?”
Jiang Xiaobai was taken aback.
After a moment of silence, Jiang Xiaobai turned to face Xiao Su. The room’s surroundings weren’t bright, but it was sufficient for them to see each other.
“Are you a pig?” Jiang Xiaobai snorted.
Xiao Su thought she was angry again and looked back in disbelief. “Then let’s just sleep.”
Jiang Xiaobai was astounded.
I shall pronounce you dead, you bastard!
Jiang Xiaobai sneered and rebuked, “What goodnight kiss? You better don’t try to touch me or kiss me for the rest of your life!”
Xiao Su wasn’t sure whether it was just his illusion, but he felt that it was just a tantrum that Jiang Xiaobai was throwing at him. He had always been clueless about the mind of women. Still, when he was with a straight man like Ye Moxuan, he felt that he had known everything about the basics, however with a cunning woman like Jiang Xiaobai, he was nothing but confused.

At first, Jiang Xiaobai politely accepted the gifts that his mother gave her, but she was dumbfounded after receiving various types of gifts every day.
Liang Yahe was so generous that she even got her a set of Guerlain facial products. They were so expensive to the point where even Jiang Xiaobai couldn’t even bear to spend her own money to get it.
When she recalled the fact that she and Xiao Su were just trying things out, she stopped receiving the gifts she got from Liang Yahe because she felt that it was against her conscience to accept them. She even thought of returning the other gifts that she had received.
Liang Yahe was pissed when she heard that.
“How can I take back something that I’ve given you? Xiaobai, are you returning them because you think the things I gave you are not good enough? If you think that they are not good enough, you can throw them away.”

“Why do you think you don’t deserve them? You’re such a pleasant girl; if I say you deserve them means you really do deserve them. You don’t have to feel pressured about it. Even if you break up with Xiao Su in the future, I will not ask you to return these gifts either.”
Jiang Xiaobai was shocked when Liang Yahe brought that up.
“Don’t worry, I am a woman myself, and I understand that all women hope to have a caring and loving boyfriend and future-in-laws. If you really get together with Xiao Su, I will buy you even more gifts.”
Liang Yahe had always lived a happy life. Her husband was caring, and her son was filial. Instead, she saved them up so that she could get a house for his son when he got married. Now that he had a nice girlfriend like Jiang Xiaobai, obviously, she had to wait until they’re officially together to bring up the topic of marriage.
Liang Yahe didn’t feel bad at all while she spent Xiao Su’s money to buy gifts for Jiang Xiaobai.
