Those from the Xiao family were generally kind-hearted and simple; they would not play mind games. Therefore, when Xiao Su’s cousin wished him luck, he meant it. He was not trying to imply anything else. After all, there were not many of them in the Xiao family, so they were close-knit. Since this was a day of celebration, in the end, most of them became tipsy and began cheering loudly.
Xiao Su was still somewhat sober, but his head was spinning, which almost caused him to be unable to stand up. Liang Yahe came over and pinched his ear. “Xiao Su, are you okay? Are you tipsy? I don’t know what’s going on with Xiaobai. Let me check on her.”
“Uh-huh.” Xiao Su nodded and turned to his father, who was next to him. When he saw Xiao Mingzhi, Xiao Mingzhi was already completely wasted and asleep, bending over the table.
“Su, we have a room ready upstairs. Could you please bring uncle up to get some rest?” Thinking that it would not be sensible for his father to continue to be asleep on the table, he nodded and helped him to the room upstairs. After he finished settling him in, his head felt even dizzier by the time he came downstairs to try to find Jiang Xiaobai and Liang Yahe.
All of a sudden, Liang Yahe rushed over to him. “Xiao Su!”
Xiao Su stopped as he heard her voice, getting an ominous feeling.
“Hey, where did you go? I’ve been looking for you.”
“Dad’s drunk, so I sent him to the room upstairs.”
“What?” Liang Yahe became annoyed. “That old man still loves drinking. I told him not to drink too much tonight. Damn it! Oh well, since today’s a special occasion, I’ll forgive him. How is he? Is he completely wasted? Let me go and check on him.”
Then, Xiao Su told her the room number. Before she headed upstairs, Xiao Su grabbed her by her arm. “Mom, where’s Xiaobai?”
Liang Yahe was slightly surprised when she heard that. “Oh my goodness, I’ve completely forgotten about her. What did I do to my future daughter-in-law?”
Xiao Su exhaled. “Mom.”
“Xiao Su, Xiaobai’s drunk. Please go and check on her now. Xiao Su began to breathe in deeply as he quickly rushed over to find her. When he found her, she was already out of control and the few ladies could not handle her. At this point, they had gone to look for two under-aged cousins in the Xiao family of around sixteen or seventeen years old to help them hold her. It was already uncomfortable for the two teenagers to hold her over their shoulders, but the things that she said under the influence of alcohol and the seductive look that she gave them made it worse. The boys were still blushing and unresponsive.
“Ah. I take your silence as a no to the pretty and cute kind. Do you want me to find you someone older and more mature? Or do you want someone like me?”
By now, even their ears had turned red, and they were unable to utter a single word.
“Oh, come on; don’t be shy!” Before Jiang Xiaobai could continue, someone had grabbed her by her wrist. She subconsciously turned around and saw the gorgeous face of Xiao Su that looked extremely upset. “Huh?” She tilted her head and sized him up; she was about to say something.
Learning from past experiences, Xiao Su did not let her have the opportunity to respond. He immediately pulled her over, put his jacket around her body, and carried her on his shoulder. “Okay.” Xiao Su nodded and turned around with Jiang Xiaobai on his shoulder.
The rest of them let out a sigh of relief after he left.

“You’re right, especially when she’s stroking one of your jaws. It was so elegant and gentle; it made me wonder if you guys were falling for her. You young men, are you attracted to the pretty Miss Xiaobai?” The group of ladies came and surrounded the two under-aged boys. After being bombarded with their endless comments and questions, they found a perfect timing and fled.
Meanwhile, Xiao Su had already brought Jiang Xiaobai to one of the rooms upstairs and laid her on the king-sized bed in the hotel room. When she lay on the bed, she was feeling extremely dizzy—one could tell by the awful look she had on her face.
When Xiao Su was trying to lay her on the bed, her knee-high skirt had slightly moved up her knees, exposing her snowy white legs. The sight of this excited Xiao Su, who pursed his lips and forced himself to cover her legs with the blanket.
“Why did you drink so much? Don’t you know you’re a lightweight?” Xiao Su grumbled as he rubbed the spot between his eyebrows. He, too, had one too many drinks tonight. As he began to feel tipsy, he exhaled deeply and decided to rest in the room next door.
