Jiang Xiaobai was sleeping soundly when someone suddenly grabbed her. Feeling dizzy, she bellowed, “Leave me alone!”
Her voice was firm, and there was not a sense of drunkenness in her voice.
If it weren’t for her blood-shot face and neck, one wouldn’t have thought that she was drunk.
Xiao Su started to become more and more impatient, his force strengthened almost crushing her arm. “Don’t you know how to control your drinking if you’re coming to the bar alone? You’ve drunk so much. Do you wish to be picked up by someone who would take advantage of your drunkenness?”
So many cases of sexual assaults had happened in bars.
One night stands are even worse. Some of them had been found with their organs missing, or worse—their lives lost. As a woman, doesn’t she know how to treasure herself?
Xiao Su was furious just thinking about the situations that could’ve happened. The veins on his forehead started to pop, and the force on his hands strengthened on Jiang Xiaobai’s arms.
Finally, Jiang Xiaobai could not stand it anymore. “Ouch…”
Only then did he realize it and released his grasp.
Looking pitifully at him, Jiang Xiaobai pouted. “Why are you so fierce? What’s the problem if I like drinking? What does it have to do with you anyway? Let go of me.”
Pausing for a moment, Xiao Su looked at Jiang Xiaobai, who had suddenly become a different person. She had turned more lady-like, not just in her expressions but even in the way she speaks.
She was still very fierce moments before but the next second she had become whiny.
Xiao Su was confused by her reactions, but he was clear that, at this moment, his most important duty would be to send her home.
So, Xiao Su ignored her words and coldly said, “We’ll talk about it later.”
The bar was not a desirable place to talk as it was too crowded and the music was blazingly loud.
Xiao Su tried to pull Jiang Xiaobai toward the door, but she did not seem to want to move another step. She just stood there. She even held onto the barstool to show her unwillingness to leave.
“What are you trying to do? Are you still going to stay here and drink?”
Jiang Xiaobai hugged the barstool silently. Finally after sometime she looked up at Xiao Su.
“I want you to carry me back.”
Xiao Su was confused. He thought that he had heard wrong.
“What did you say?” he asked.
And to that, Jiang Xiaobai sternly said, “Carry me home.”
She lowered her head pitifully and said, “My head is spinning, I can’t move.”
The bartender almost laughed out loud after hearing this. He had already tried persuading Xiao Su to carry her but he would not listen. Now that she has spoken up, will he have the guts to reject her?
Xiao Su carefully examined Jiang Xiaobai for a while, and came to a conclusion that she was too drunk to know what she was doing. She also seemed uncomfortable as her face turned bright red.
When he thought of this, he pursed his lips and walked over. He squatted in front of Jiang Xiaobai and said, “I’ll give you a piggyback ride home, okay?”
“A piggyback ride?”
Hearing these words, she looked up at his face curiously. “Can’t you carry me?”
“If I give you a piggyback ride, you’ll feel more comfortable. You could also rest on my shoulders.”
Jiang Xiaobai seemed happy with the suggestion as she nodded with a wide grin on her face, “Alright then, give me a piggyback ride home!” She exclaimed with her arms wide open.
Jiang Xiaobai’s face was clean and pale under the blinding lights. One could see some powder left on her cheeks and neck. Her eyes seemed a bit dazed as she spread her arms.
Xiao Su froze for a moment, but quickly turned his back for Jiang Xiaobai.
Looking at his broad shoulders, Jiang Xiaobai jumped onto him without any hesitation. She seemed to have put in all her force because she had crashed her whole body onto Xiao Su’s back.
It almost caused Xiao Su to lose his balance, but he was able to regain his stability with both his arms on the floor.
He grunted as they could have been both flat on the ground if it weren’t for his quick response, not to mention the strength he had. He was caught off guard by how much energy Jiang Xiaobai held.
“Get up now! Get up!!!”
Jiang Xiaobai’s arms were wrapped tightly around Xiao Su’s neck once she got onto his back. The force on her arms felt as if it could have cut off his blood circulation, causing him to nearly fall over again.
“Don’t hold on too tight, I can’t breathe.” Xiao Su solemnly said as he grabbed her hand and squatted in position, ready to stand.
Jiang Xiaobai seemed unpleased by the words he said and wrapped her arms even tighter, which almost caused Xiao Su to lose his life, this girl is really…
“Do you still want me to stand up?” he gritted his teeth.
“You can’t stand up if my arms are around your neck?” Jiang Xiaobai replied as she fluttered her eyes innocently.
“What do you think? Let go of me!”
Jiang Xiaobai let loose of her hands after being scolded by Xiao Su.
“…What I meant was for you to loosen your grip, not to take both your hands away. What would happen if you fall?”
After hearing his comment, Jiang Xiaobai wrapped her arms back on his neck. Although her grip was quite tight, Xiao Su was still able to breathe. So, instead of commenting any further, he stood up and walked straight out of the bar.
Jiang Xiaobai was grinning eye to eye as on his back. Her legs were swaying back and forth while she demanded Xiao Su to set off.
Xiao Su tried his best to stop her as he hurried toward the exit. She was quite light, so he did not feel any pressure when carrying her or giving her a piggyback ride. However, her arms circled tightly against his neck, and her legs were swaying around like a child, which made it extremely hard for Xiao Su to balance himself.
After many difficulties, they were finally out of the bar. Once they were outside, a cold breeze blew by, “It’s too cold, I’m freezing! I need warm air!” shouted Jiang Xiaobai as she held onto Xiao Su even tighter.
He was rendered speechless as he glanced back and said, “This isn’t the North. Besides we’re not in the coldest season, what ‘warm air’ are you demanding for?”
“I don’t care!” Jiang Xiaobai started to fuss, “I want heated air, I am cold!”
Her loud voice gathered the attention of passersby who were probably ready for a show.
“If you are not going to give me warm air, then this would be considered as torturing! boohoo…”
Xiao Su continued to walk on as he was unbothered by her. He put her into the car once they arrived at the parking lot. Then helped to fasten her into the seat.
“Y-Your Majesty, what are you doing to me?” Jiang Xiaobai suddenly whined while holding his hand after he had just fastened her seatbelt.
His hands trembled as he looked at her.
Jiang Xiaobai’s eyes were suddenly filled with tears, “Your Majesty, are you tying me up to put me in abeyance? Please tell me where my faults are, I am willing to change, please? ”
It took a moment before Xiao Su yelled, “Have you watched too much drama?” He then pushed her hands away.
“Your Majesty! Please tell me!”
“Otherwise, I’ll die today to show you my sincerity. I am not going to let you leave, Your Majesty.” She held onto Xiao Su’s arms tightly.
Xiao Su did not know that Jiang Xiaobai would behave this way after getting drunk. He would not have come if he knew it beforehand. He felt immensely helpless to deal with this crazy side of Jiang Xiaobai.
