After suppressing her anger for half of the day, Shen Qi finally glared at Ye Moxuan furiously before turning around to leave the office.
“Stand right there!”
Ye Moxuan stopped her.
Shen Qi came to a halt and stood still because she couldn’t go against his direct order after all. However, her back was facing him, and she did not turn around to look at him.
At the next second, Ye Moxuan grabbed her waist and pulled her into his arms, causing Shen Qi to cry out in surprise.
Ye Moxuan’s large and warm hand held her neck while asking her in a husky voice. “You are still wearing my clothes, but there you are raising your voice at me. Did you ask for my permission to do so?”
His hand snaked around her waist, and he tightened his grip, rendering her immobile. Shen Qi turned around to face him angrily while bellowing at him. “You made a fool of me!”
Amusement flashed across Ye Moxuan’s eyes, and he inched even closer to her. “Did I answer wrongly?”
“You purposely made a fool of me regardless!”
If he wasn’t trying to make a fool of me, why didn’t he mention that the restaurant is owned by Ye Group from the very beginning? Why did he inform me at the last minute when I was about to rush out of the office in annoyance that the restaurant is one of Ye Group’s businesses? He keeps me guessing right to the very end before finally explaining himself. He makes me so mad!
“All right. Even if I did it on purpose, what could you do to me?” Ye Moxuan asked shamelessly, and she couldn’t help but stare at him incredulously.
“What did I say to you earlier in the restaurant restroom?” Ye Moxuan pulled away the suit jacket that was draped around her shoulders and said to her in a deep voice, “I am in the mood.”
Shen Qi’s eyes bulged while staring at him, and she looked horrified as her face turned pale.
She knew exactly what he meant, and even if she didn’t understand him, his actions alone were enough to convey his meaning.
That was due to the fact that Ye Moxuan was pressing against her with a certain part of his body, and the state of his prominent bulge was enough to tell her what he had in mind.
The color drained from Shen Qi’s face while she was trapped in his embrace. “Ye Moxuan, what do you mean?”
After he took the suit jacket off her, he tossed the jacket absentmindedly onto the floor.
Ye Moxuan caressed her smooth back with his warm, large hand and said, “You had been wearing the suit jacket on your way back, am I right? I would not allow just anybody to stare at my woman.”
Shen Qi was rendered speechless by his words. Did he even listen to a word I said?
Reality proved that Ye Moxuan did not listen to her at all.
He lowered his head and started feathering kisses on Shen Qi’s neck. Shen Qi was quite helpless, and she tried shoving him away. “What are you doing?”
Ye Moxuan’s voice was hoarse when he replied to her, “I’m continuing what we’ve started.”
“‘Continuing’?”
“What we have not completed in the restroom earlier.”
A trace of annoyance flashed across Ye Moxuan’s expression after Shen Qi interrupted him, so he bit her suddenly. Shen Qi cried out in surprise due to the sharp pain.
What happened afterward came as a surprise because Shen Qi did not expect Ye Moxuan to be so… passionate all of a sudden. He took off all her clothes and buried his head against her neck while moving downward.
Ye Moxuan was in full swing, but for Shen Qi, the residual heat left by his large and warm hands felt like some sort of humiliation for her.
But he doesn’t love me at all. He hated me so much previously, and he always looked at me with disgust while saying those hurtful things to me. The child in my belly is not his, and if it were to happen to any other men, they would never ever fall for a woman like me.
However, ever since that incident, his attitude toward me has changed completely. In fact, he would hug and kiss me for no apparent reason while teasing me.
Suddenly, she recalled the word mentioned by a staff member in the company—‘mistress.’
Ye Moxuan does not see me as his wife. He merely regards me as his woman. I will be leaving after six months, and is that why he’s treating me as if I’m his mistress during this period?

Shen Qi’s pupils dilated significantly, and she pushed Ye Moxuan away violently.
“Let go of me!” she repeated non-stop while shoving him away. Ye Moxuan was about to get down to business, and he did not expect her to start pushing him away.
Initially, he could ignore her resistance, but later on, she was affecting his mood, so he gripped her wrists before holding them tightly behind her back. His actions forced her soft body to press even closer to his, and he squinted at her dangerously.
“Do you know whose lap are you sitting on right now? Your current actions will merely make me angrier.”
Shen Qi’s expression soured slightly when she heard that. “Please don’t do this, Ye Moxuan. Didn’t you say you hated me? Shouldn’t be disgusted with me and be reluctant to touch me? What are you doing now?”
Shen Qi almost lost her cool when she finished her sentence. “You’re treating me like a toy, aren’t you? Are you using this method to punish me just because I’ve gotten divorced and I’m pregnant with a child that isn’t yours?”
Ye Moxuan’s hand that was holding her wrists in place paused for a moment when he narrowed his eyes at her menacingly. “You think that I am punishing you?”
“Aren’t you?” Shen Qi gazed into Ye Moxuan’s eyes, and her voice was soft. “You hated me so much previously, so why the sudden change? Is it because of what happened the other night? In that case, let me tell you something. If we truly slept together that night, you don’t have to act in this manner because I was drugged that night, and I didn’t do it willingly.”
Ye Moxuan’s unhappy expression darkened even more after hearing the last part of her sentence. He hissed through gritted teeth at her, “Why don’t you repeat what you’ve just said?”
Shen Qi bit her lower lip stubbornly and met his gaze unwaveringly.
Glaring at her threateningly, Ye Moxuan pinched her chin, and this time, he applied more force. “Hmm? You did not do it willingly, so are you saying that I was forcing you?”
“I’m not blaming you,” explained Shen Qi. “There was ecstasy incense in the room that night, and Lu Xunchang was using that against you because he thought that you were impotent. Hence, he wanted you to suffer from the unbearable pain of unreleased lust, he just didn’t expect you to…”
Shen Qi didn’t finish her sentence.
Although she was barely conscious that night, she could still recall bits and pieces of what had happened from her memory. It was not much, but the marks all over her body the next day was proof enough.
“Didn’t expect what?” Ye Moxuan’s eyes were dark with rage, and a trace of viciousness flashed across his eyes. He pinched her chin even harder while asking her. “Are you telling me that you didn’t expect that I would be the person to save you that night, or are you telling me that you are in love with someone else?”
“I…”
What is wrong with him? He almost sounds like he is jealous, but who is he jealous of? That’s not right. Why would he be jealous about something related to me, a person he is disgusted with.
She knew her position well, so she wasn’t going to overthink things.
Shen Qi turned her face away while answering him stubbornly. “In conclusion, we were both forced that night, and we should put it behind us, and let’s not take it seriously.”
“Is this what you want?” Ye Moxuan asked.
Shen Qi pursed her lips while remaining tight-lipped.
She was still unsure what she truly wanted, but she was sure that she didn’t want Ye Moxuan who was always hugging and kissing her just because they slept together that night.
