Jiang Xiaobai blushed and ran away. Xiao Su stood there and touched his face inexplicably. She was the one who took advantage of me naturally and even teased me, so why is she scared that I took action? Well, it seems like she is just a paper tiger, acting all bold before me. Yet, she pushed me away when I leaned forward a little and even ran away. He never realized that a faint smile was drawn on his face after Jiang Xiaobai ran off.
“It’s nice to be young. You look high-spirited. Assistant Xiao, you have good taste. That girl is gorgeous,” President Zhao, who appeared out of nowhere, walked toward Xiao Su as he spoke. He had a wide smile as he complimented Jiang Xiaobai.
“Thanks.” Xiao Su glanced at him and looked indifferent.
President Zhao raised his eyebrows. “Assistant Xiao, are you admitting it? That girl is really your girlfriend?”
“Yeah.” Xiao Su nodded. Although Xiao Su was aware that it was a fake relationship, President Zhao was close to the Jiang Family. How Xiao Su answered President Zhao’s question was important as it could prevent Jiang Xiaobai from finding fault with him if President Zhao mentioned anything to the Jiang Family.

Xiao Su just smiled and didn’t answer President Zhao’s question, so the latter stopped asking.

Jiang Xiaobai’s plan was to hail a cab and depart from the place before the celebration ended as she was aware that many guests would pepper her with questions. Therefore, she needed to leave earlier. When she arrived on the road, a car stopped before her and Xiao Su’s face appeared before her after he wound down the window. “Hop on.”
“Xiao Su?” Jiang Xiaobai’s eyes widened with surprise. “I thought you left?”
Xiao Su pressed his lips together and didn’t answer her question. Instead, he spoke indifferently, “Quickly enter the car. I’m not supposed to stop here.”
Jiang Xiaobai was speechless. She helplessly looked around, having no choice but to open the door and getting onto the passenger’s seat. She then asked as she fastened her seatbelt, “Why are you here? I thought you left with President Zhao?”
Xiao Su glanced at her indifferently. “You knew where I went? You paid that much attention to me?”

After being dumbfounded for a moment, she regained her composure and spoke slowly, “You were the special guest tonight and all eyes were on you. After she fastened her seatbelt, Xiao Su stopped speaking and focused on driving. He had indeed left earlier, but he decided to turn around and check on her after thinking about it. For some reason, Jiang Xiaobai was enraged when she looked at Xiao Su and sneered. “Of course I know that we are a fake couple. That’s why I was just pulling your leg. If you think I shouldn’t have said so, just make me shut up. You didn’t have to do this! Besides, I, Jiang Xiaobai, don’t have feelings for you. Even if I do one fine day, I won’t ever disturb you if your heart doesn’t have me in it. Acting is acting; reality is reality.
