Bang! Du Xiaoyu pulled the chair beside Jiang Xiaobai before sitting down. Her furious expression shocked Jiang Xiaobai into silence.
“What is it?” Jiang Xiaobai turned around to have a glance behind her. She took another bite from the chicken wing before asking, “Did someone cut the line at the washroom?”
Du Xiaoyu was at a loss for words when she heard that. “Honestly, I don’t know what to say to you. I asked you to look for your boyfriend, but you just wouldn’t. And, your boyfriend wouldn’t even come to see you. Yet, I can’t believe that you’re happily sitting here and stuffing your face with chicken wings. Are you oblivious to what’s going on?” After that, Du Xiaoyu flicked a finger against Jiang Xiaobai’s forehead.
Jiang Xiaobai grunted in pain, “Owie! Why would I look for him? I’m so hungry that I’m about to pass out.”
Du Xiaoyu asked in anger, “In that case, why don’t you guess where I was just now?”
“Didn’t you go to the washroom?”
“Washroom, my a*s! I went to the main table just now. Guess what Xiao Su’s reaction was when he saw me? Do you know what he said the two of you were?”
Huh? Jiang Xiaobai blinked several times. “Did you go over to look for him?”

Jiang Xiaobai cried sadly, “But, Mom, how could he say that? Aren’t we a couple? Does he not like me since he said that?”
“No, it’s not confirmed. Why would he attend the birthday feast if he doesn’t like you? There must be a misunderstanding here. Why don’t you wait for a while more to see if he’ll come over to look for you?”

She turned around just when her mouth was wide open and unexpectedly met Xiao Su’s steady and calm gaze.
