Shen Qi didn’t utter a word. Instead, she just handed in the form she had just filled out. “I would like to apply for 5,000 first. May I?”
“So much? Why don’t you rob the bank instead?” Yan still murmured in annoyance.
The middle-aged man patted Yan’s head, almost unable to keep the smile on his face. “Do you really want to lose this job? Would you like to pack your things and go home now?”
Yan snorted and looked at the middle-aged man angrily while clutching her head. Shen Qi noticed that although the middle-aged man looked quite fierce, he also looked a little doting but helpless. The feeling that the pair of them exuded was like… they were father and daughter.
