“It’s still early. You can sleep for a while if you’re sleepy.”
Indeed, Yan was very sleepy. She was too sleepy to even think about anything else, so after hearing what he said, she nodded her head and continued to lie down. But before doing so, she muttered something to herself, “That’s strange… I clearly heard someone knocking on the door, or was I dreaming?”
Han Qing remained silent.

Because she slept near midnight the night before, Yan slept the very instant she shut her eyes and continued until noon. In between, one of the traveling agents came knocking on the door, but was dismissed by Han Qing, who told him about the postponement.
After Yan woke up from her sufficient rest, she suddenly recalled the scene where she had actually slept with Han Qing in the same bed last night.
But at this very moment, the entire room was very completely silent, and she was all alone in that space.
Yan rubbed her eyes and hazily reached out for her phone.
Could it be that Han Qing had sneaked out as before while she was sleeping? Did he secretly go out and seek pleasure with another woman?
Yan searched her phone to see if Han Qing messaged her, but alas, her inbox was empty. Not even a single message was in sight.

“Qin’er?” Yan lifted her head as she gave Lin Qin’er a puzzled look.
With crimson lips and a flushed face, Lin Qin’er stared at her and said, “Didn’t you just wake up? Why don’t you hurry and wash up? Aren’t you all supposed to be going out later?”
Yan became even more doubtful. “How did you know……”
Lin Qin’er smiled sheepishly, and a shy expression seemed to have appeared on her face. “Oh, President Han told me about it.”
Yan felt that her brain had been hit violently by something. As she looked past Lin Qin’er into the room, Lin Qin’er shifted herself and completely blocked her vision before placing both hands on Yan’s shoulders and pushing her out.
“Alright, that’s enough. What are you still thinking about? Hurry up and go get yourself ready.”
After the conversation, Lin Qin’er closed the door even before Yan could react.
After closing the door, Lin Qin’er leaned against the back of the door with a sneer. She was already stupid enough to bring herself to the room. She could even be deceived by just a few words and a little gesture.
Tsk, what’s so good about that young girl who doesn’t know anything? Men may like these girls at first, but they’ll gradually be bored of them. Wait till Han Qing sees her true color! He will abandon her like a useless old pair of shoes.

And half an hour passed by.
Although half an hour did not seem like a long time, it felt like a whole century had just passed for Yan who was in the process of waiting.
But Yan was not in a hurry, so she quietly squatted there and waited.
Unexpectedly, she received no text messages, and Han Qing also did not appear. After squatting for a long time, her legs started to become numb. Therefore, she wanted to change her posture before she could squat longer.
But just as she was about to do so, the sound of firm and steady footsteps came from the corridor.
Upon hearing the footsteps, Yan quickly looked toward the direction of the sound.
At a glance, she saw the very person that she was thinking and longing for.
Han Qing was carrying a bag in his hand. As he walked over, he saw a familiar figure squatting by the corridor. It was only after he came nearer that he saw the figure clearly.
Yan’s eyes lit up the moment she saw Han Qing. Ignoring the fact that her legs were numb, she shot right up and ran toward Han Qing.
“Where did you go?”
“Where did you come back from?” Yan questioned while looking past Han Qing.
The girl had an anxious expression on her face, and the questions she asked were weird. Therefore, Han Qing took a look at where she had squatted just now, trying to understand the reason. When he recalled the questions asked, he quickly figured out the entire story.
“I went downstairs to buy something and took the elevator on my way back up. Why? Should I take the stairs on my way back up too?”
As he spoke teasingly, a light smile surfaced on his face.
Yan felt a little awkward and shook her head. “No, I was just… a little worried about you. That’s all. You didn’t even reply to my text message.”
Half an hour had already passed by!
She had squatted out there for a whole half an hour, but it did not matter now. Instead, she was ecstatic!
That was because she had finally verified her suspicion!
