That had Yan immediately curious. If Lin Qin’er never made her comment, she wouldn’t have had Yan hooked onto her every word. Yan now wanted to know what Lin Qiner had to say because she was curious as to why the latter couldn’t speak of it. “Miss Lin, go ahead and tell me.”
“Are you sure you want to hear this?” Lin Qin’er glanced at Yan hesitantly.
Yan mumbled in acknowledgement while nodding earnestly.

Lin Qin’er went ahead to sleep whereas Yan took some clothes into the bathroom for a shower. After Yan closed the bathroom door, she leaned her back against the door and stood there without moving. Lin Qin’er’s remarks continued to echo in Yan’s mind.
After a few minutes, Yan shook her head firmly to clear her mind. No! Why am I entertaining these foolish ideas? We finally got together after experiencing so many challenges. Han Qing has always been a cold and distant person to start with, but he’s changed so much ever since he’s been with me. Previously, he unbuttoned his shirt in front of me, but I was so shocked that I stopped him by grabbing his hands. He even said that I’d see it when the time is right! Lin Qin’er bent slightly to place the wine glass on the table beside Han Qing. Yan was not sure whether her mind played tricks on her—when Lin Qin’er bent down, it seemed as if she moved forward to rub against Han Qing unintentionally. Just when her waist was about to graze against Han Qing, Yan’s eyes widened in horror and she was about to say something, but he avoided Lin Qin’er’s touch swiftly and silently. He stood up and glared at Lin Qin’er with a deadly gaze.
Lin Qin’er’s eyes flashed in astonishment. I lowered my collar on purpose just now and I even softened my voice and footsteps when I got closer to him. I can’t believe he has no reaction whatsoever. In fact, I think he just avoided me. Was it by chance or did he do that intentionally? However, she refused to give up… My perfect and seductive figure is much better than that woman with a stick figure. How could he not be attracted to me if he’s a normal man?
Just when Lin Qin’er was about to try her luck again, Han Qing spotted Yan walking out of the bathroom and fixed his gaze on the latter. He walked toward Yan before Lin Qin’er had the chance to approach him. “Are you done with your shower?” Han Qing still retained his calm and distant expression when facing Yan, but his gaze and tone were gentler and more tender.
Yan had no idea what happened, so she remained standing where she was and blankly stared at Hang Qing while he walked toward her.
“Yeah,” Yan responded to Han Qing while nodding reflexively. Then, she looked at Lin Qin’er before glancing at him. “Why are you here?”
Han Qing smiled lightly while gently caressing Yan’s with his large hand. “Pack your things.”
“Huh?” Yan stared at Han Qing in confusion. “Pack my things?” What happened? Why did he ask me to pack my things all of a sudden? If this was happening in a comic book, there would be multiple question marks popping up on the top of my head right now.
“Be good and do as I say, alright?” Han Qing refused to explain further. Instead, he insisted for her to gather her things. Yan had no idea what happened, but she did as instructed. After that, she wrapped her wet hair up swiftly and started to pack her items. She didn’t bring many things, so it took a short time for her to pack. Once she was done packing, she walked to Han Qing’s front and he took her suitcase naturally from her.
“What happened?” Yan couldn’t stop herself from asking.
Lin Qin’er, who stood at the side, was obviously not doing well. She had a smile across her face, but she was obviously not fine. She rushed toward them in a hurry while staring at the suitcase in Han Qing’s hand. “What happened? Am I troubling the both of you? Why don’t I leave if that’s the case?” With that, Lin Qin’er turned around to leave.
Han Qing maintained a dark expression without commenting. However, Yan felt embarrassed, so she stopped Lin Qin’er. “Miss Lin, hang on.”
