Nothing To Give But My Heart Chapter 1110

“Alright, I’ll find out what’s going on for you. Although she doesn’t want to see you, she should be fine with seeing me.”

Ye Moxuan wasn’t too sure, but he still nodded. “Sorry for the trouble, Aunty.”

“Tsk! At least you are more polite now. Just because of this, I will help you to convince Muzi even if you have really done something wrong.” However, she added after that, “But if you are really fooling around outside, I will ask her to break your leg with me.” Then, Song An went to see Han Muzi. While Han Muzi lay on the couch without having the urge to do anything, she heard that there was a knock on the door.

“Muzi, it’s me, Aunty Song.”

Han Muzi only returned to her senses when she heard Song An’s voice from outside. Aunty Song? Why is she here? She immediately realized that Ye Moxuan must have asked Aunty Song to come here. Hmph, that bastard actually asked her to help him out! How infuriating!

Since Aunty Song was their elder, Han Muzi couldn’t pretend that she wasn’t around, so she asked, “Aunty Song, what’s up?”

“I heard that you haven’t been feeling well for the past few days. I’m a little worried, so I’m just here to visit you. Are you okay? Do you need me to bring you to the hospital for a checkup? Even if you don’t want to go to the hospital, it’s fine too. I used to be a doctor, so I roughly know what’s going on with you. May I enter to take a look for you?” With that, Song An tried to turn the door knob. Even though it twisted with a sound, the door did not open as Han Muzi had already locked it from inside.

Han Muzi held onto the chair for support as she stood up arduously. Then, she walked to the door and asked Song An quietly, “Aunty, are you alone?”

Song An knew about Han Muzi’s worries. As Song An never expected Han Muzi to be direct, the former couldn’t help but smile in her heart. She had fortunately foreseen this, so she already chased Ye Moxuan away. Otherwise, Han Muzi would never open the door for her. Thinking of this, Song An said, “Yeah. I’m out here alone now. Don’t you worry about anything. Feel free to tell me everything. If he lets you down, I’ll definitely be on your side. I won’t side with that b*stard Ye Moxuan.”

Creak! The door was finally opened, but there was only a gap. Song An peeked inside, but she didn’t see Han Muzi. “Where are you?”

“Aunty Song, I’m here.” After Han Muzi opened the door wider, Song An entered. Right after that, Han Muzi shut the door immediately, worried that someone might enter after Song An.

“Don’t worry. Since you don’t want to see him, he won’t force his way in. If so, he won’t come to me in the first place.”

He was just worried that Han Muzi couldn’t take it, so he took a step back and looked for Song An’s assistance.

While they chatted, Song An silently appraised Han Muzi. In fact, both of them hadn’t met each other for quite some time. Right after Ye Moxuan regained his memories, Song An never intruded the couple’s life anymore and returned to her place instead—while taking the old man along with her. She occasionally flew abroad with him as well. After some mental calculations, she hadn’t met Han Muzi for two months.

Two months ago, she realized that Muzi’s belly was quite big already and two months later… Song An couldn’t help but snort out laughing. “Muzi, how did you…” How did you gain so much weight?

She lacked the courage to say it aloud for the fear of hurting Han Muzi’s pride. However, her derisive snort had been too obvious and she looked at Han Muzi all the time too. It was quite obvious what Song An meant by now. Indeed, right after Song An laughed, Han Muzi’s fair face immediately reddened and she turned around in embarrassment. “Oh, stop laughing at me, Aunty.”

Song An stopped laughing and looked at her. “It’s only been two months. How did you get to this stage?”

Han Muzi looked depressed. “I have no idea at all. Probably it’s because all I have done is eat and sleep, but when I had Little Bean, it’s not like this at all.”

When Han Muzi spoke, Song An noticed the frustration on the former’s face—her entire face was twisted into a worried expression because of this. “So this is why you wouldn’t see Moxuan?”

Although Han Muzi was quite embarrassed, she admitted it by nodding her head. “Aunty, since both of us are women, I won’t keep this from you. If possible, I really want to deliver the baby alone.” Back when Han Muzi was pregnant with Little Bean, she never looked like this at all. Although her figure was slightly plump as well, it took some time for her to return to her original figure. On top of that, she was alone at that time as Ye Moxuan was not with her—and she never cared about how others looked at her, so she didn’t mind how she looked. However, it was different now. Ye Moxuan was right beside her on a daily basis as he watched her gain weight. She was on the verge of breaking down just by thinking about it.

“You silly girl, what are you thinking? Every woman will experience this. If he doesn’t like you anymore or if he thinks that you are not good enough just because you’ve gained weight just after childbirth, are you able to continue living with him? Childbirth is already very tough yet you want to go through it alone? If this is what you really think about, don’t blame me for scolding you.”

“But…” Han Muzi lowered her head in disappointment. She felt despair as soon as she looked at her thick arms and calves.

“Come on, don’t worry about it. After you deliver the baby, everything will be fine. You will still be you.” After that, Song An gave Han Muzi a lot of advice and forbade her to deliver the baby alone. Han Muzi had to face Ye Moxuan directly.

After a long time, Han Muzi finally nodded in agreement. When Song An exited the room, Ye Moxuan was right outside and as soon as he saw her, he walked to her immediately. “How was it? Why did Muzi ignore me?”

As Song An spoke to Han Muzi for a long time, the former was quite tired of talking, hence, she ordered, “Go and pour a glass of water for me.”

Ye Moxuan remained silent as he stood still.

Song An arched her eyebrows. “You’re not going to do that? Don’t you want to know what Muzi is thinking? Or you don’t want to see her after all?” She was obviously threatening him.

Ye Moxuan frowned and turned around to pour a glass of water for Song An. After gulping it down, Song An’s throat felt much better and after putting the glass aside, she realized that Ye Moxuan looked at her coldly before he asked in a murderous tone, “Can you tell me now?”

“What? Why are you looking at me as if I’m your arch-enemy? What can you do to me if I don’t tell you?”

Ye Moxuan’s expression immediately turned cold and sinister. He opened his mouth slowly after thinking about it for two seconds. “It shouldn’t be too difficult to make you throw up the water that you have just drunk.”

“What?!” Song An looked at Ye Moxuan in disappointment. “Do you still regard me as your aunt? When you came to ask me for help, your attitude wasn’t like this! Ah, forget it! I’ve already discussed it with her. She won’t lock you out tonight anymore.”

Although he received the answer that he wanted, he still didn’t know the reason why Han Muzi ignored him for the past few days, hence, he didn’t leave and continued to ask, “What is the reason?”

“The reason? I promised her not to tell you. If you really want to know, you should ask her yourself.”
