Ye Linhan tried to assuage Old Master Ye’s anger. “Grandpa, Moxuan has his own reasons for doing everything. I haven’t seen him attack anyone before, so maybe Lu Xunchang has really infuriated Moxuan this time. Moxuan, you should at least tell us about the situation. How exactly did he offend you?”
“Ha! What rights do you have to know about my reason for doing things?” Ye Moxuan was extremely arrogant, not respecting Old Master Ye and Ye Linhan at all. However, Shen Qi, who was standing next to him, knew that he did this because he didn’t want to involve her in this matter.
Shen Qi knew it when she was blocked by him the last time she tried to speak up. Ye Moxuan didn’t want to implicate her in this. However, there was no reason to let him take the blame for everything. It was time for her to stand up for herself; she didn’t need Ye Moxuan to take the blame for her every time.
Thinking of this, Shen Qi stood up before Old Master Ye got angry again.
“It was because of me.” Shen Qi went forward firmly. Although she was quite slim, she completely blocked Ye Moxuan’s figure.
Ye Moxuan froze for a moment before frowning. “When has it been your turn to speak?”

Before Shen Qi could speak, Ye Moxuan rolled his wheelchair over. Shen Qi was worried that she would be scolded by him again for speaking up, so before he could speak, she answered, “Just last night. He kidnapped me at the banquet.”
Ye Moxuan frowned. “Damn it!” What is this woman doing? Am I the kind of person who needs others to defend me?
“Old Master Ye, I know you may find it incredulous, but Lu Xunchang did kidnap me, and he also attacked Ye Moxuan verbally with vicious words. Shen Qi then explained to Old Master Ye according to what Ye Moxuan had told her the other day. “Moreover, for business collaboration, Lu Xunchang is too unreasonable and unpredictable. This time around, the project that the Ye and Lu Families will be working together on is a long term project. After doing some research, I found out that Fang Group is a more worthy business partner compared to Lu Group for the same project.”
