“Get in the car.” Han Qing said to her coldly.
Yan was rendered speechless as she cried inside. Is it because I’ve accidentally heard their conversation just now, so he doesn’t want to let me go? Yan looked at him powerlessly with both her hands held high. “Can I not get in the car?” I’ve promised him so much already. Why can’t he just let me go? Not only that, she’d had too many creamy cakes that night, so she felt nauseated. She didn’t dare to go in his car in fear of vomiting in it later on.
“I’ll send you back.”
“Huh? S-Send me back?” Yan couldn’t react to it as she pointed at herself. Han Qing wants to send me back? Why does it feel like I’m hearing things? It seemed like a dream to her; hence, she rubbed her eyes and opened them again to have another look. However, Han Qing’s cold face was still there in front of her.
Yan immediately straightened her back and answered him seriously, “Thanks, but I don’t need you to.” She knew that Han Qing was willing to send her back because she was the best friend of his little sister, so he needed to show his gentleman side; otherwise, according to his personality, why would he take the initiative to park his car here just to wait for her? Since Yan had already decided to stay away from him, she chose not to enter his car. If it went on like this, not only would she be unable to cut ties with him, their relationship would be even more complicated.
However, the key point was that he might be fine with it, but she would be the one devastated. I have decided to let him go, so if I stay in the same place as him, won’t that be torture for me? That is why I can’t go into the car! I must be resolute with my decision!
Listening to her, Han Qing furrowed his eyebrows. From the words she just said to him when they were inside, he could guess that she was probably going to reject him. Yet, his heart still couldn’t bear it when he saw her tiny figure standing there. He knew clearly that he should have just driven past her, but at the end, he chose to stop the car in front of her.
“You really don’t need me to?” Han Qing squinted at her with his narrow eyes.
For some reason, Yan felt that his eyes sent a chill down to her spine as she bit her lower lip gently. Just as she was about to agree, a hand grabbed hold of her shoulder.
“Thank you for your kind intention, President Han, but I already promised her before that I’ll send her back. If she stands me up and leaves with you, I think it’ll make it difficult for her.” Xiao Su suddenly showed up and gently grabbed hold of the side of her shoulder. He made a posture of holding her in his arms and explained to Han Qing while wearing a smile on his face.
Han Qing landed his eyes on Xiao Su’s hand for two seconds before he diverted them away. However, Xiao Su was still able to sharply capture his actions, so he remained silent and stared at Han Qing as he waited for his next move.
Sadly, Han Qing’s eyes reverted back to their coldness, and he spoke in an emotionless tone, “If that’s the case, I won’t force her.” With that, the car left.
Seeing the back of the car for a while, Yan finally came back around. Today… It looks like Han Qing is driving the car himself. Why didn’t Mr. Nan send him to the party today?
“What are you in a daze for? Let’s go.” Xiao Su brought her to another direction while holding her. After seeing his car parked not far away, Yan’s once blurry mind was now starting to clear up. If I get into Xiao Su’s car instead of Han Qing’s car, what would that mean?
Thinking about that, Yan instantly stopped her steps. “About that…”
Xiao Su also stopped to gaze at her puzzledly.
Yan opened her mouth awkwardly and waved at him. “I think I’d better go back myself. I suddenly remembered that I have something to discuss with Muzi, so I need to go back in for a while.”
“You have something to discuss with her? Then I’ll wait for you here. How long will it take?” Hearing her words, Xiao Su didn’t doubt her at all, and he really thought that she was looking for Han Muzi to discuss something with her. I’d feel bad for leaving you here to wait for that long, so you’d better go back first.”

Yan was rendered speechless. This man is so annoying! Can’t he calm down for a second and seriously think about what I actually meant? Can he not be this insensitive? He really is infuriating!
She gritted her teeth as she had lost her patience for him, so she stared straight at him ruthlessly and exclaimed, “Do whatever you want. You can wait here for as long as you like!” Just like that, she turned and walked inside.
After seeing her enraged figure, Xiao Su immediately realized what was going on. Looks like… she is rejecting me. Since she didn’t want to go in Han Qing’s car, she doesn’t want to go in mine either.
When Xiao Su understood her, he could only let out a bitter smile inside him. As he gazed at the figure in front of him, he spread his legs and went after her. He was a tall man with long legs, so he quickly caught up to her and blocked her way.
“Stop throwing a tantrum and let me send you back home. If you find Young Lady Ye now, she won’t have the time for you.”

“She is now with Young Master Ye. Are you sure you want to disturb them?”

As they were speaking, a man and a woman came from inside. They were Leng Yueyue and Wang An. After seeing Yan, Leng Yueyue waved at her. “You haven’t left yet? I thought you’d almost reached your home after seeing you walk out just now.”
Hearing her words, Yan’s eyes lit up, as if she had finally found her savior. Therefore, she quickly ran toward them. “Are you guys going back? Can you guys send me home along the way?”
The two of them were startled. Before Leng Yueyue could react, Wang An’s face turned strange. “Don’t you have someone behind you… that is ready to send you home? Why do you need to squeeze in a car with us?” This was a rare chance for him to send his dream girl back home, so he didn’t want a third wheel on the way.
Yan was rendered speechless. Then, Leng Yueyue glared at Wang An. “How could you talk like that? If you don’t want to agree to her, then you can go back yourself. I will call a cab with Yan.”
Yan swiftly nodded. “I’m fine with that.”
“What are you fine with? How is it safe for two girls to call a cab at night? Besides, there aren’t any cabs for you to call,” Wang An reminded them. Even though he felt gloomy about it, he still couldn’t bear to let Leng Yueyue call a cab; hence, he agreed to them reluctantly.
However, Xiao Su came over right after. “I’m sorry for disturbing you two. I’ll send her back myself. You two can go now.”
“Xiao Su!” Yan shouted at him while gritting her teeth, but he was still smiling without uttering a word.
