Heat rose and radiated through Shen Qi’s whole body, making her feel as though even her brain was on fire. It was as if her blood was filling up her veins and burning up her ears and face.
I can’t stay here any longer. I have to… leave this place.
However, she was in a haze, and so she had no choice but to bite her lower lip hard to regain some consciousness via the pain before quickly scrambling toward the door.
However, the drug was too strong, and she must have been drugged with quite a high dose since she was force-fed about half a bowl of it.

Shen Qi was not sure if her lower lip was a bloody mess by now, but she was aware of her mouthful of metallic scent of blood. Nevertheless, the pain she felt was so negligible compared to the heavy fog in her mind; no matter how hard she tried, the fog just wouldn’t lift.
Just as Shen Qi wanted to crawl toward the bathroom, an icy-cold hand grabbed onto her.

Shen Qi shook off the person’s hand reflexively while yelling, “Get lost!!”
Ye Moxuan scowled deeply while regarding Shen Qi, who was in front of him.
The touch earlier felt scorching hot, which only further confirmed how strong the drug effects were. However, she still clung onto the last shred of rationality to shove his hands away, and her determination shocked Ye Moxuan. Therefore, when Shen Qi looked up at him, the usually calm Ye Moxuan couldn’t help but stare at her wide-eyed.
Blood was trickling down the corner of her lips, and she had her bottom lips chewed to a bloody mess.
Fresh blood continued flowing down the corner of her mouth, and Ye Moxuan’s heart clenched in agony when he saw the bright red color.
“You…” Ye Moxuan’s expression changed drastically when he saw Shen Qi about to bite herself again. He dragged her up swiftly before shoving a finger into her mouth instinctively.
She bit down viciously, causing Ye Moxuan to grunt in pain.
“D-Damn it!” Ye Moxuan’s forehead beaded with cold sweat while he stuttered. “Miss Second-marriage, if you dare bite my finger off… I’ll never forgive you.”
Shen Qi seemed to have heard Ye Moxuan’s voice in her foggy mind, and in the beginning, she thought that she was hallucinating. However, when she realized that she was biting on someone else’s finger, she lifted her face up.
The vague images before her eyes then gradually overlapped and came to a sharp focus.
Ye Moxuan was glaring at her with a dark expression while seated on his wheelchair, and his finger was bleeding after she bit on it.
“It’s you…” Shen Qi regained her sanity somehow, and she shoved against him violently. “You need to leave. Get out!” she shouted.
“What are you doing?” Ye Moxuan was still in pain because he just had his finger bitten by her, and blood was dripping everywhere. Ye Moxuan’s expression soured instantly, and he questioned Shen Qi in disdain.
Damn this woman. I came all the way here to save her, and here she is, trying to push me out of the room! She even bit my finger!
Shen Qi explained with all her strength, “He lit some ecstasy incense here!”
“Ecstasy incense?” Ye Moxuan repeated, but he still seemed indifferent, as if this was within his predictions.
Shen Qi exclaimed, “You should leave too, because if you stay on, you will be drugged too.”
He is a cripple, who relies on a wheelchair all year round. I wonder what will happen if he were to be truly drugged?
Hearing that, Ye Moxuan lowered his head and squinted his eyes at Shen Qi, who was almost naked while tucked in his arms.
This woman is already in such a sorry state; why is she still concerned about whether others get drugged as well?
“Instead of being concerned if I may be drugged, shouldn’t you worry about yourself?!” reminded Ye Moxuan coldly.
Shen Qi shook her head with a soft reply. “I-I don’t know…”
The pain earlier kept her slightly grounded and conscious for a moment, but it was only for a very short period. Now, her rationality was slipping away again, and her eyes gradually became unfocused.
Ye Moxuan noticed that, and he pinched her chin swiftly. “Stay with me!”
Shen Qi’s eyes focused once again, but it only lasted for a couple of seconds before they lost their focus.
“Quick… Leave…” Shen Qi mumbled with her bloodied lips, sounding like a broken record.
Ye Moxuan was rendered speechless by her reaction.
He increased his grip before hissing through clenched teeth, “Is this all the willpower you have? Just stay strong for a moment. The doctor is arriving soon!”
The next moment, Ye Moxuan’s body stiffened because Shen Qi’s arms snaked around his neck. Her soft and velvety arms rested around his neck, whereas her flushed cheeks approached him slowly, and she was about to kiss him.
Ye Moxuan’s pupils dilated, but he turned away just before her kiss landed.
However, Shen Qi did not give up just yet, and since she couldn’t kiss his lips, she shifted focus and kissed his neck instead.
Ye Moxuan felt his abdomen tighten, and he increased his grip around Shen Qi’s waist to shift her farther away from himself.
“Damn it, woman, you had better wake up right now!”
“I… I feel so hot.” Shen Qi reached both arms out at him, as if asking for hugs after he shoved her away. She appeared unsatisfied, and her actions were rather irresistible.
Ye Moxuan should have pushed her away, but… he wasn’t quite sure why he felt that Shen Qi, who was before him, had became so gentle now.
The dim yellow lights in the hotel room cast a suggestive atmosphere, as if leading the both of them on.
“Hug me… please?” Shen Qi’s voice was different from her usual cold tone, and at that moment, her voice was tender and womanly; even her usually calm eyes were sparkling and seductive, as if beckoning for him.
Ye Moxuan couldn’t help himself and leaned forward for a kiss.
“Uh,” Shen Qi moaned in pain. It was most probably due to the pain on her lower lip, which was torn and chapped from earlier, and the wound made contact with Ye Moxuan’s lips.
Ye Moxuan felt his body core temperature increase rapidly just like Shen Qi’s, and it seemed as if he didn’t want to cause her pain on her lower lip injury as he shifted his lips to somewhere else. He then started nibbling on her delicate earlobe.
Ye Moxuan was lost in the haze of kissing when he realized something wasn’t quite right, and his eyes flew open with a start.
The drug was very strong indeed, and without realizing it, he was already under its influence.
The woman leaning against his body was moving her hands swiftly across his body while her small hands were trying to unbutton his clothes, but her fingers were fumbling around to no avail. Thus, Shen Qi lost her patience, and she used both hands to grab onto Ye Moxuan’s collar before trying to rip them apart.
However… she was too weak, and her attempt was unsuccessful.
Shen Qi was now frustrated, and she started tugging and yanking against his collar.
Ye Moxuan felt helpless when she saw the actions of the petite woman who was lying in his embrace.
He grabbed onto her small hands and spoke to her in a hoarse voice. “Stop fooling around. The doctor is arriving soon.”
However, Shen Qi was not herself anymore, and she was merely acting on her primitive instincts and desires when she approached Ye Moxuan. So how could she possibly register Ye Moxuan’s words now? She ignored him completely even though she heard him.
With that, Shen Qi tried pushing Ye Moxuan’s hands away.
Yet Ye Moxuan did not budge. Although his eyes were dark with desire, they were firm, and they seemed to have a sense of clarity in them. Similar to Shen Qi, cold sweat beaded around Ye Moxuan’s forehead.
“Let me go, let me go!” Shen Qi became anxious when she couldn’t push him away after trying several times. She then lost her patience and leaned forward before biting Ye Moxuan on his neck.
Ye Moxuan’s expression fell immediately, and he was at a loss for words. In fact, the sudden feeling of swelling almost broke him!!
