Chapter 6194
Half an hour later, Harvey sat in the back of a Rolls-Royce after his breakfast.
The professional driver was none other than the person who had the blessing to meet Harvey before —the butler himself.
The butler couldn’t help but feel disdain when seeing Harvey’s face.
After all, Harvey had already refused Marlee’s offer, yet he came back here just to check in on the old lady.
The butler was sure that Harvey was just showing off at this point.
Harvey ignored the butler’s expression and flipped through the documents that Ethan sent about her grandmother.
That said, it was only natural for his information to be a little outdated since he wasn’t in Wolsing.
Harvey kept looking through the documents before glancing at the butler.
“What’s going on with the old lady right now?”
The butler curled his lips, acting all high and mighty.
“Just like a few days ago, she is still unconscious.
“Because of your refusal to work with us, the family’s old man even asked a lot of well-known people for help.
“He hoped that with the group of people, the old lady would finally be freed from her situation.
“However, there wasn’t any progress at all.
“Of course, if you’re willing to work with us now, the Honey Pill alone would solve everything immediately.”
Harvey nodded before closing his eyes; he had no intention to explain his situation at all.
Around half an hour later, the car reached a huge manor at the edge of the inner city.
The manor was said to be the palace of the past king that was bought by the Hunt family. After a long renovation process, the manor was filled with all sorts of high-tech equipment while maintaining its antique look.
The car quietly drove on a special pathway before arriving in front of an old-school Western building.
The car door opened. The butler went outside, bowing respectfully in front of Harvey.
“This way, please.”
Harvey nodded, and followed the butler into the wooden building.
“I think the old lady must’ve been cursed by witchcraft! We need to find what it is so we can heal her back up!”
“Maybe not; maybe it’s some sort of Beetle Technique from Seed Frontier…”
The entire hall was filled with clamor; all sorts of talents were gathered here, including monks, expert martial artists, and people who looked like beggars.
These people were each followed by a servant. It was clear the Hunt family respected them quite a lot.
Harvey glanced around before figuring out that they were the experts who had been asked to help. The ones with the highest authority must’ve been the few high and mighty-looking elderly people in robes.
Harvey was surprised when he looked at their outfits.
‘Are those priests…?’
Harvey was sure that the old lady was in deep trouble after seeing those people.
If that weren’t the case, the Hunt family wouldn’t even get them here in the first place, judging from their immense background.
