Harvey York’s Rise to Power Chapter 6174

Chapter 6174

“Come now, ma’am ! No need to get mad!”

Anne smiled while walking beside Lilian.

“We already chased Harvey away! We wouldn’t let someone like him get close to Mandy! You told us so, remember?”

Lilian finally let out a sigh, her expression cold.

“Good! My eyes are twitching already! Nothing good ever comes with that kid’s name!

“I’m warning you, Mandy! Don’t you dare be in contact with him from now on! You understand me?!”

Mandy’s expression was horrible. “We’re just friends, Mother…”

“Shut up already!”

Lilian slammed the table.

“You think I don’t know about this?! He’s only trying to cling to you because you’re rich now!

“You’re a member of the top ten families! You should know to only be close to people like you!

“Look at what Young Master Hector did! He gave me a card with a million dollars in it! Can that filthy vermin do something like that?

“Don’t talk to me about his stupid business in South Light, either!

“Let me tell you something! Everything outside of Wolsing means nothing!

“Even prominent figures have to abide by the rules here! Do you understand?”

Mandy’s mouth twitched, and she felt a headache coming.

“Right, Anne. What did you say about the garbage Harvey gave to my daughter?” Lilian said, reminded of something.

Anne opened the gift box, revealing the pill. “Here it is!”

“What is it?”

Lilian took a glance before slicing it in half. The pill had an exquisite smell of butter and medicine.

“What kind of gift can Harvey even get?” Lilian said with cold eyes. “It must be some fake medicine from a roadside stall. We should just feed it to the dog.”

She tore the skin off the pill before feeding it to the poodle in her arms. The poodle sniffed the pill before swallowing it without hesitation.

Everyone froze.

Lilian curled her lips. “Must be dog food, then…”

“Your meal is here, everyone.”

An elderly man in his sixties came inside with high spirits.

Two waiters behind him pushed a small cart with a plate cover. The smell alone was enough to make anyone drool.

“Master Sallow.” Lilian instinctively stood up, greeting the elderly man along with the others.

Master Sallow was the head chef of the Gare Pavilion, and a descendant of the Whip Dynasty’s royal chef.

Not only were his dishes brimming with delightful tastes, it was also extremely healthy. Many people in Wolsing could only wish to have a taste of his food.

Lilian couldn’t help but swallow her spit.

“That bastard has no right to have such an exquisite meal! I, on, the other hand…” she began.

“Huh?” Master Sallow said, smelling something in the air.

He looked around, and saw the pill in Harvey’s gift box.
