Chapter 6127
“You didn’t come here just to hear me yap, did you?”
After seeing Stefan’s gloomy expression, Harvey chuckled and changed the subject.
Stefan came back to his senses, and took a deep breath. “The master wants to see you.”
“The master?” Harvey froze. “Can you and your teacher not handle the situation?”
Stefan chuckled.
“You’re joking, Sir York…
“It doesn’t matter if we can or not; Master Roben is still the master of the temple.
“He was uncertain about his stance before, but he’s asking to see you today.
“I had no choice but to come.”
Harvey was a little shocked when seeing Master Roben.
In his mind, the master of the Aenar Temple would be quite the experienced monk.
However, it was just an ordinary old man. He was wearing simple clothes while cocking an arrow on his crossbow.
The arrow flew out, and a heavy thump could be heard from deep inside the woods.
Judging from Harvey’s eyesight, he was able to tell that other than a hawk, there was something else that resembled a nimble feline that fell to the ground.
It was clear that not only was Master Roben extremely strong, but he wasn’t just some carefree person like everyone thought either.
Harvey squinted at him with a calm look, having no intention of disturbing Master Roben’s daily routine.
“I’m sorry, Sir York,” Stefan said apologetically.
“The master doesn’t like to stay in the Aenar Temple. He’s been secluding himself in the hunting grounds ever since he tasked me to deal with the temple’s matters.
“We wouldn’t be able to find him if he didn’t show himself in the first place. Judging from his behavior, he wouldn’t answer to anyone’s call until he’s done with his shot.” Harvey smiled; he casually started to make some tea with the tea set in front of him. He didn’t mind the situation, nor was he hesitant to make the place his own.
Stefan hesitated for a moment. The tea set was his master’s favorite; he’d be completely infuriated if anyone laid their hands on it.
And yet…
Stefan pretended not to see anything. After all, he had no right to go against either of those people.
Swoosh!
The air split apart when Harvey was just about to pour out some tea.
An arrow traveled at lightning speed.
Stefan instinctively rolled back with accurate posture and form despite having the look of a loser.
Harvey casually picked up his cup, and took a sip before shaking his head.
Krrr!
The arrow stabbed right into the tea tray before slowly wiggling around at a hair’s length in front of Harvey.
A hole could be clearly seen in the teapot.
Harvey let out a sigh, not batting an eye.
“The Aenar Temple must be pretty rich; what a waste of something worth thousands of dollars…”
