Chapter 6109
“Take action?”
Amos chuckled.
“We’d be ruining our foundation if we go against them now.
“Evermore is disgusting, but we still need them right now.
“Without them, what are the odds of us winning against Stefan? Not to mention Harvey-the man who’s been nothing but unfathomable.”
Elaine hesitated. “We’d have at least good odds, no?”
Amos stood up before letting out a sigh.
“It’s still too low!
“It’d be trouble if we’re not completely sure that we’ll win…
“That said, the situation isn’t completely against us either.
“Give Naruse an invitation.
“Get him to come to our banquet.”
When Amos was planning to set up Naruse, Stefan’s car was parked right outside of Harvey’s villa.
Stefan respectfully pressed the doorbell. Romina opened the door, and he was led through the main hall before reaching the backyard, where Harvey was sipping his tea.
He didn’t waste a single breath as soon as he saw Harvey’s face.
“I’ll be frank, Sir York! From today onward, I’ll do anything you ask of me!”
Harvey poured a cup of tea for Stefan, then raised his head with a curious expression.
“You’re not in a panic at all after losing all of your foundations. Looks like Vaati gave you quite a lot of backups, huh?
“But you didn’t come all the way here just to spout nonsense, right?
“You’re planning to get me to destroy Evermore’s headquarters in the outskirts along with Amos with you.
“Am I wrong?”
Stefan breathed a little harder after sensing the coldness in Harvey’s voice; he gulped down the tea in front of him before smacking his lips.
“I’ll cut to the chase!
“Amos and Evermore had been working together against you multiple times now!
“They even tried to kill me! For a real man like me, this is simply unforgivable!
“Since you’re an impressive man as well, why should we be scared of them in the first place?
“Let’s all go together and destroy them!
“When that happens, we’ll have total control over the outskirts!
“I’ll have everything you want here!”
It was clear that Stefan was desperate for Harvey to take action…
He simply didn’t have the courage to do it himself.
“How long do you think I’ll be staying here?
“Ten days? A few weeks?
“If I’m already about to leave, what does it matter if I have total control over the outskirts?
“What’s the point of that?”
Stefan froze; he didn’t think Harvey would remain this calm.
“But Amos is big trouble! If we don’t deal with him right now…”
Stefan began.
Harvey waved his hand.
“Do you think I’m scared of anyone here?
“If Amos doesn’t cause me any trouble, then I don’t care what he does.
“If he does trouble me, it’d be easy for me to deal with him as well.”
