Harvey York’s Rise to Power Chapter 6057

Chapter 6057

Roue chuckled.

“Not exactly. The difficulty depends on your resolution.”

“What do you mean by that?” Amos asked, still frowning.

“If, say… Someone Vaati deeply cares about dies in Harvey’s hands … Would the Aenar Temple remain friends with him?” Roue said, smiling mysteriously.

“Someone Vaati cares about…? Does he have a woman or something?”

Amos showed a curious expression.

“Let’s think outside the box, Young Master.”

Roue seemed quite relaxed.

“Why can’t a man be the person he cares about the most? Everyone says that Stefan is his child. If he dies, do you think Vaati would remain this calm?”

Amos scowled. “There’s a huge risk in that. If he finds out that I started this… He’ll fight me with everything he’s got. This plan won’t do. Let’s think of something safer.”

“There’s no time, Young Master.

“I can only tell you this. You need to be ruthless to stand your ground. The outskirts’ situation isn’t good for you right now.

“If you’re still going to be this paranoid… You’d be taken out in due time. It’d be too late when you decide to take action.”

Amos’s face turned gloomy after hearing those words.

While Amos was torn about the plan, a discreet-looking van showed up at Harvey’s doorstep the next day. Stefan and a few of his trusted subordinates stood at the front.

Stefan looked at the doorbell with a severe expression; he hesitated for a moment before finally pressing it.

“Mr. Stefan.”

After opening the door, Harvey politely led Stefan to the living room.

“This is a crucial time for you to prepare. Why did you come here? Aren’t you supposed to be making preparations at the Aenar Temple?”

Harvey smiled faintly at Stefan; he had already given Stefan the Smalt Sect’s badge. He’d be disappointing himself if Stefan wasn’t planning on a big show.

“You’re too kind. This place is essentially a gathering spot of the most prominent figures at this point. No matter what I do, I’d at least have to gather some information here, right?”

Stefan had no intention of hiding anything.

“I understand why you gave me the badge, Sir York. I have no intention of holding back against Amos, but there’s still a small problem.”

Harvey chuckled, completely ignoring the disdain in Stefan’s words.

He shrugged. “Speak your mind.”

“If I’m really going against Amos, the badge you gave me might stop the Kronen Temple from getting involved,” Stefan said.

“My master might be able to suppress the higher-ups as well.

“But here’s the thing… I’m no match against Amos at all!”
