Chapter 6000
Harvey frowned. He wasn’t afraid of the smoke, but he wouldn’t be able to stomach his food down later if he got hit by the stench.
Harvey quickly moved to the car to avoid the disgusting attack.
Swoosh, swoosh, swoosh!
The moment Harvey dodged the attack, four Demon Monks pounced forward at the same time.
They were lightning quick, as if they knew Harvey was going to evade the attack. They planned to appear in front of Harvey at the same time so they could hold him down.
After seeing the Demon Monks’ pitch-black hands and the foul. smell surrounding them, Harvey covered his mouth before leaping into the air.
He had met a variety of opponents with different levels of strength. Normally speaking, he’d simply slap them all aside.
But since the four Demon Monks smelled as if they just hopped out of the ground, he had no intention of coming in contact with them.
At the same time, he wondered if he should bring single-use gloves the next time. That way, he’d be able to deal with tricks like these.
Swoosh!
Before Harvey could find something that could pass as a glove, a shimmering blade hurtled right past him.
The attack was powerful, instantly breaking the Brazen Formation apart. At the same time, the blade charged at the four Demon Monks.
A blatant murderous intent was felt as the Demon Monks stepped back to avoid the destructive move.
Serval’s gaze sharpened as he watched the show.
Harvey looked curiously at the light that just passed by him. With swordsmanship that could deter the four Demon Monks, the person must’ve been a God of War.
When Harvey landed on the ground again, a man with slightly gray hair clad in a green robe stood in front of him.
He waved his hand, and the sword flew back into his hand. He quickly glanced around soon after that.
Harvey took a closer look at the man, before recognizing some of his facial features to be similar to Kali’s. It was Dorian Howell, the branch leader of Longmen’s outskirts branch.
“Mr. Dorian?” Harvey said.
Dorian nodded before glancing at the fierce sight in front of him.
“You people are shameless, aren’t you? Why are all of these Demon Monks dug up already?
“Aren’t you people scared of wasting the Smalt Sect’s every single resource? You’ve been saving that up for more than a thousand years by now!
“You wouldn’t have any power left to show off when that happens!”
Naturally, Dorian knew some of the Smalt Sect’s secrets.
Judging from his words, the Demon Monks had been buried underground. The so-called monks were probably not considered human at this point.
“Who are you?”
Serval’s expression changed.
“How did you know about this?
“And are you sure you’re going to get involved with the Smalt Sect’s matters? Let me tell you something! A nobody like you has no right to butt in!”
Swoosh!
Dorian calmly waved his hand. His sword charged at Serval at the speed of light.
Harvey squinted; he could tell that this wasn’t swordsmanship, but very thin fishing lines used to control the sword’s trajectory.
