Wesson slammed the table furiously.
“I’ll give you ten minutes to do everything I tell you to! If not, I’ll make sure your whole family dies!”
Wesson looked as if he had Kali under his control.
“I’ll give you ten minutes too, then. Kneel, break your arm, then deal with whatever’s going on outside as an apology.”
Before Kali could say anything, Harvey came in through the door.
“If not, you and the people supporting you will pay a huge price.”
‘Harvey?!’
Kali froze; then, a hint of joy crossed her face. She knew just how impressive Harvey was; she was certain the Howell family would be saved.
This was about Longmen. No matter how strong Harvey was, he wouldn’t dare get involved with Longmen’s business, anyway.
“A huge price?”
Wesson froze-this was his first time being threatened. He squinted at Harvey before chuckling coldly.
“Interesting! Even Kali wouldn’t dare talk to me this way, but here you are, boasting right in front of me!
“You want the people supporting me to pay a huge price? Do you realize who they are?”
Wesson glared disdainfully at Harvey. It was clear that he saw Harvey as a talentless idiot.
He thought Harvey was probably one of Kali’s pursuers, like Ernie. If that wasn’t the case, ordinary people wouldn’t even dare talk back to him like this.
Harvey looked at the Rolex on his wrist. “You have nine minutes. I hope you stop wasting time.”
“Hahaha! It’s already past a minute?” Wesson guffawed.
He sized up Harvey as if he was looking at a clown.
“You look pretty damn stupid…but you sure talk funny!
“Do you even know who I am? Do you realize who’s supporting me? People like you are no different from stray dogs that I trample on however I want! You understand?”
Wesson squinted at Kali; he couldn’t be bothered to look at Harvey anymore.
“I changed my mind, Ms. Kali.
“Since you’re going against me no matter what… Since you’re planning to make things harder for me with this filth… Your actions disappoint me!
“How about this? I’ll add one more condition on top of the rest.
“You and your mother will serve me in the Outskirts International Hotel’s presidential suite in bunny suits! Got that? You should know the consequences if any of you go missing!”
The people behind Wesson burst out laughing after hearing those words.
