Chapter 5949
Bam, bam, bam!
A single glance was enough for the man to stumble back.
He created quite a lot of distance from Harvey, too.
Everyone could tell that the seemingly invincible being was scared witless, as if he had met his arch-nemesis.
Xyla and the others were dumbfounded; they didn’t know what was going on.
Normally speaking, this man would never be scared of anything. After all, Giants were made with Northern European Berserkers as inspiration. They were mindless killing machines with no sense of fear.
And yet, this man seemed horrified.
‘What’s going on? Harvey didn’t do anything, did he?
‘He only gave a single glance! What’s there to be scared about?
‘What a joke!’
An unbelievable thought came to Xyla’s mind.
She knew Harvey was a capable man…but no matter how strong he was, one’s strength could only be determined after getting into a fight.
Harvey only looked at the Giant, and the Giant stumbled back.
This didn’t make sense!
“Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!”
The man came to his senses, and glared furiously at Harvey. Just now, he could feel Harvey’s figure expanding infinitely, and that a single glare would be enough to crush him.
But after snapping back to reality, he felt that it was all just an illusion.
The thought made him utterly infuriated.
He thumped his chest like a gorilla, then swung both his hands. A string of black liquid gushed right out of his mouth soon after.
Harvey stepped aside disdainfully, dodging the attack with ease. A hole could be seen in the wall behind him. It was clear the liquid was toxic; it would harm anyone who came in contact with it.
The man’s expression quickly changed again; he didn’t think one of his killer moves would miss.
Harvey frowned, and set his teacup down. “You’re pretty boring … And disgusting, too!”
Harvey slammed his hand on the table before swiping it forward. A fork flew out in an instant.
The man could sense his spine shivering as soon as he saw the move. It was a simple move, but filled with murderous intent.
He instinctively crossed his hands in front of him, desperately trying to protect himself at the most crucial moment.
Pfft!
The fork pierced right into the man’s arms, holding them together. The man stumbled back, his face filled with nothing but fear.
He ended up being a little slow; the moment he came out of the room, the force of impact guided the fork right into his throat.
He turned sluggish instantly; he wasn’t dead, but he knew he’d bleed out if he moved recklessly. At that point, he’d die no matter the outcome.
