Chapter 5855
A few Westerners walked out when the car doors opened.
The person leading the group sized up Harvey York momentarily.
“Mr. Kyren’s asking you to join him.”
“Mr. Kyren? The Silver Knight?”
Harvey seemed calm. He entered the car without hesitation.
Half an hour later, the cars came to the edge of a desert.
Hundreds of people stood with their arms folded. Judith Pedler’s father, Kyren Pedler, was in the middle of the crowd.
He crossed his arms while looking at the sight before him. His white shirt fluttered in the sandy wind.
Behind him, the elderly God of War looked at the sky while pondering something.
“Please, Sir York.”
A Westerner gestured without any intention of getting closer to Harvey.
Hundreds of people around instantly looked at Harvey.
Their eyes were radiating with power. Clearly, they were battle- hardened veterans.
Ordinary people would be scared witless by the sight.
Harvey, on the other hand, was unfazed. He calmly stepped forward until he was only a few steps away from Kyren.
The elderly man finally lowered his head before showing a cautious expression as he glared at Harvey.
Harvey continued stepping forward before finally stopping in front of Kyren.
The elderly man’s pupils shrunk. He was just about to step forward, but Kyren casually waved him off.
“Why did you summon me here, Kyren?”
Harvey did not fear Kyren, nor did he intend to hold back.
Kyren showed a confused gaze while looking at the desert before him.
“Do you see anything in the desert, Sir York?”
“Isn’t it just the desert?”
“It may seem that way, but it’s hard to imagine the extent of the entire thing.
“People can only understand the vastness of the entire world when being in the moment.
“In this massive world, the sands of this desert aren’t even worth mentioning.”
He slowly turned around before looking at Harvey.
“Just like you, Sir York.
“You’re pretty well-known here…
“But no matter how famous you get, you’re still just a grain of sand.
“Once the wind blows over, you’ll disappear.”
Harvey let out a chuckle.
“I didn’t think you’d be this knowledgeable despite being a soldier.
“Even if you’re not the Silver Knight, I’m sure you’d be able to be a lecturer somewhere anyway.
“At least you won’t starve to death.”
“How dare you?!” the elderly man exclaimed.
Kyren glared at him, signaling for him to keep quiet before looking at Harvey again.
“You’re a clever guy, Sir York. What’s the point of playing dumb now?
“Or are you implying that I should be frank?”
“Just speak your mind then.”
