“These Islanders deserve to die! How dare they disrespect me like this?! I’ll settle scores with them sooner or later!” Rhodes growled.
Rhodes’s face was gloomy as he looked at the chaos in front of them. He was lucky he wasn’t killed or hurt during the attack; he would’ve been very embarrassed if that happened.
“How ignorant can these people be?!” Julie exclaimed with pursed lips. “They’ll pay a huge price for what they did today!”
Mandy frowned. “Where did these people come from…?”
Harvey narrowed his eyes for a moment.
“Judging from their skills, they must be from the Six Schools of Martial Arts.
“However, their swordsmanship doesn’t come from any specific school at all… It’s as if all Six Schools of Martial Arts are involved in training these people…”
Harvey was reminded of Takai; that man’s fighting style seemed quite similar to the enemies around them. On top of his extensive foundation, he had managed to create his own killer move. Ordinary ninjas wouldn’t be able to replicate that.
Rhodes scoffed after hearing Harvey’s words.
“Stop trying to pretend that you know anything!
“The Six Schools of Martial Arts has always been separate. Every single one of the schools think that they have the best swordsmanship, and that they’re the peak of their country!
“Why would anyone be responsible for all six of their teachings if that’s the case? You think they’d join forces to train their disciples? You watch too many movies!”
“That’s right!”
Julie shot Harvey a cold glare.
“Stop pretending that you actually know something! Because of your suggestion, the Islanders attacked us here! At this point, I have reason to suspect you of treason!”
Harvey rolled his eyes.
“If you’re going to slander me like this, at least use your brain. No matter where we go, we’ll end up at the Mandrake Residence anyway.
“You don’t even understand that, but you’re here spouting nonsense. Do you think everyone’s just as stupid as you?”
Julie was shivering in anger. “If you keep yapping, I’ll get Rhodes to take you down first!”
Mandy quickly stepped up before Harvey could reply. “Forget it, Harvey. We have bigger problems to deal with right now.”
Harvey smiled, then narrowed his eyes to the scene before him in silence.
An armed helicopter in the air changed direction, and flew straight toward the Mandrake Residence. Naturally, the people inside the helicopter had other motives.
Seeing that, Lennon quickly shouted into the walkie-talkie. ” Quick! Take down the helicopter!”
A few of his guards pulled the trigger in the air.
In the midst of chaos, Harvey wrapped his arm around Mandy and retreated into a corner. The place was very much hidden; within the chaos, it was the safest spot.
The helicopter door was suddenly kicked open while it was being shot; a figure took a step forward, and pounced right at Lennon.
