Julie understood her junior the best; she knew this discreet man had always been prideful. He’d never let those who tried to ruin his plans get off that easily.
The other women were thinking of every possible scenario that would happen; they couldn’t understand the gravity of the situation at all.
Their faces had nothing but glee.
‘How dare he go against a prominent figure like Rhodes?! He’d definitely suffer!’ they thought.
“Heh!”
Rhodes chuckled; he applied more force on his hand, but then he realized that Harvey’s expression didn’t change at all.
“You’re right about that, Young Master Rhodes,” Harvey said casually.
“I’m a bodyguard, not a kept man.
“If I want to do my job, I need to have actual training instead of just being a show-off.
“Since Mandy hired me, it’s only natural that I have the skills. Going against me like that would mean disrespecting her, after all!”
Harvey didn’t feel anything about what Rhodes was doing.
He didn’t fight back, either; he was being considerate toward Mandy. If he decided to beat Rhodes up, it’d be hard for her to explain things.
He was also Mandy’s business partner. Plus, he didn’t want to attract too much attention.
“The skills? Do you have that?”
Julie sized up Harvey disdainfully; she clearly doubted Harvey’s words.
“Skills come from practice, not from spouting nonsense. You got that? A scrawny-looking man like you wants to protect Mandy?
“How dare you even call her by her name! Who do you think you are?”
Julie signaled Rhodes to put more force and cripple Harvey so that he would stop spouting nonsense.
Rhodes narrowed his eyes; at first, he wanted to go easy on Harvey But Harvey kept talking about Mandy without fail; to Rhodes, Harvey was showing blatant disrespect toward her!
He put all of his force into squeezing Harvey’s hand, making sure Harvey would roll on the ground in pain.
A shame all that force was completely useless.
Harvey was smiling at Rhodes, as if he was watching a clown.
Julie was confused. She understood her junior too well; she knew Rhodes wouldn’t give a kept man like Harvey a chance.
She didn’t understand why Rhodes was frowning. She assumed he wasn’t putting enough pressure on his hand.

A loud sound was heard-suddenly, the door was kicked open.
Rhodes let go of his hand.
He could sense an unspeakably wicked aura from the entrance.
He didn’t want to deal with Harvey anymore; he would teach Harvey a lesson another time.
