Without even stepping inside the No. 1 villa, everyone could figure out Harvey York was probably Aria Surrey’s kept man. If that were not the case, he would not be living in a place like this.
Aria was waiting for him in the villa, looking as if she was about to give Harvey a lesson.
Harlan Higgs was at a loss. He did not think Harvey would steep this low.

Lennon Surrey, casually sipping his tea, stood up smiling after seeing Harvey walk in.

Harvey was utterly speechless. He heaved a sigh before speaking.
“This is your family’s house in the first place. You can come here whenever you like, but at least give me a call beforehand.”
Lennon nodded.
“You’re right. This was my fault.
“That said, I came because things have changed.”
Harvey gave some thought to the situation.
“The beads are missing?”
Lennon shook his head.
“Not exactly. With the Eighteen Brazen protecting them, nobody would dare fight for the beads unless they were utterly fearless.
“You and I both know the opportunity only comes at ten in the morning.
“Though, that’s not the point.
“Conrad’s has just been released an hour ago.”
Harvey froze.
“Weren’t they supposed to detain him for forty-eight hours?
“It’s only been a day at most.”
Lennon let out a bitter chuckle.
“Things are progressing faster than we expect.
“Based on my intel, Conrad’s lawyer managed to find a legal document to carry guns here.
“With that, not only did the police let Conrad go, but they also had to apologize.”
“Legal document?
Harvey gazed profoundly.
“Country H is really strict with firearms.
“Other than the four cornerstones, you’d need to be at least a prominent figure from Wolsing even to get legal documents like that.
“Are you telling me that Conrad’s connected to that place?”
Lennon shook his head.
“It’s not that complicated. That said, according to my information, someone from the Wright family provided the document to Conrad’s lawyer.”
“The Wright family?
Harvey frowned.
“Rhodes?”
Lennon froze. He did not expect Harvey even to mention that name.
“That’s him…

Lennon put a dossier before Harvey.
Harvey flipped through the pages before he frowned at one of the pictures.
