Whitley Cobb also wanted to ascertain Harvey York’s wealth and identity. She led Harvey and the others to the study on the second floor with a smile.
Harlan Higgs paused after seeing Harvey and the others inside.
“You’re here, Harvey!” he exclaimed.
“I was just about to come look for you!
“This is Ms. Zimmer. She’s an antique dealer from Mordu.
“We’ve been dealing quite a lot for the past few days.
“You two are from big cities! You both should get to know each other!”
Harvey instinctively looked over before he froze.
‘Mandy…?’
He had been in the outskirts for quite some time. He even had gotten Dutch to send many of his men to search for Mandy’s whereabouts.
And yet he bumped into her here, of all places.
Clearly, Mandy was also frozen in place. She could not process her thoughts when she saw Harvey.
Before Mandy could even speak, Harlan smiled when he stepped forward.
“Let me introduce you, Ms. Zimmer.
“This is Harvey. He’s the son of a good friend of mine. He has an arranged marriage with my daughter, Billie Higgs. I consider him my own at this point.
“Please get along well!”
Whitley smiled.
“There’s something you should know, Ms. Zimmer. Since I only have a daughter, the family would have to let Harvey take over its businesses in the future.”
“What are you saying, Mom?!” exclaimed Billie shyly.
Harvey’s eyes twitched with his hand on his head. He was finished…
Mandy came to her senses before staring intensely into Harvey’s eyes.
“It’s a huge blessing to have such an outstanding son-in-law, Mr. Harlan,” she said with a smile.
“He also seems to be a great match for your daughter.”
Harlan let out a chuckle.

“Uncle Harlan, Aunty Whitley, aren’t you two forgetting something?”
Aliza Howell squeezed to the front, looking upset.
“We’re here to get the appraisers to expose Harvey.”
Aliza took action and grabbed the dark blue beads from Judith and Whitley’s hands before putting them on the table.
“Ms. Zimmer, right? I heard you people are experienced appraisers. You should be able to tell if these are a thousand years old, right?”
Mandy briefly glanced at Harvey before showing a smile on her face.

Aliza scoffed.
“That bastard brought these as gifts.
“One’s for Billie to celebrate her family’s move.
“The other one is for Judith.
“Who knows where that bastard got these to pursue two different goddesses?!
“Who even gave him the nerve?!”
Harvey immediately rolled his eyes. He was utterly speechless.
Without a doubt, this would incite a lot of jealousy.
Mandy smiled gently.
“I see. Two antiques to pursue two different university students…
“Quite impressive.
“Isn’t that so, Mr. York?”
Harvey felt instantly numb in his head.
“It’s just a misunderstanding…

“Now you know to give up after seeing actual professionals?!”
Aliza exclaimed as if she caught Harvey red-handed.
