A row of dark green Toyota Prados were parked there, their glaring lights filling the courtyard, making it look as if it was morning.
The doors were kicked open soon after, and several men in robes appeared.
An arrogant voice was heard.
“You’re in a pretty good mood, old man. Have you been preparing all this for me? You know I love mutton! Should I be thanking you?”
The faces of everyone there darkened instantly.
The security guards, who were hiding in the shadows, quickly jumped out. They stood in front of Lennon and the others, on high alert.
A handsome man with an arrogant expression strode inside, his arms crossed, laughing all the way.
His long hair fluttered casually in the air, and his white shirt was slightly yellow. The terrifying aura of an elite could be felt on him.
Compared to the others, his utter dominance was enough for anyone to recognize him.
Conrad Surrey!
Ernie stepped forward, glaring coldly at Conrad.
“Didn’t you already break off from the family? Why are you showing up here now? Get out of here already while Grandfather’s not angry yet!”
“Tsk, tsk, tsk!” Conrad said, as he sized up Ernie.
“Is this how you talk to your brother? Did you forget? I can take you out with a single slap if I really want to!
“Or are you saying that you’re impressive now? Is it because I’ve been away from my throne this entire time?
“You can show off in front of me, but you probably shouldn’t do this outside…
“You’ll embarrass the entire family with your lame martial arts! You understand?”
Conrad looked as if he was giving Ernie a lesson, but his arrogant tone angered everyone.
Harvey sighed, and put his cup down. The situation had nothing to do with him, but he simply felt disgusted by Conrad.
“Enough nonsense, Conrad.”
Ernie’s cold eyes glared daggers at Conrad.
“We’ll settle scores for you disturbing Grandfather’s rest later. You should get out of here! You’re lucky that we’re tending to our guest!”
Conrad burst out laughing.
“A guest? You’re not talking about this weak-looking man now, are you? Is he Harvey York?”
Conrad glared fearlessly at Harvey, filled with utter disgust.
“This guy was the one who humiliated Stefan at the auction using the Higgs family’s reputation, right?
“What’s this? Why is he here now? Does the Surrey family need someone like him to survive now?
“You should just break his legs and kick him out already! You might just get yourselves in trouble if he stays.
“After all, without my help, the family’s terribly weak…”
