Chapter 5767
Harvey kept the card and the badges before speaking again. “Since I’m so capable, shouldn’t you be talking right now?”
For a while, Asher hesitated. Then, he spoke.
“I’m not sure if my information’s correct.
“According to the seller of the dizzy pills that I contacted, I suspect that his products came from the Crora Temple -the most mysterious out of the three great temples.
“Compared to the vibrance of the Aenar Temple and the
Kronen Temple’s desolate nature… The Crora Temple is the most terrifying.”
“The Crora Temple…” Harvey muttered, a grim look on his face.
After receiving the important news, Harvey calmly left the police station. He trusted Dutch to do the right thing, so he left Asher in Dutch’s hands.
He went back to his villa as if nothing had ever happened.
The entire place had been ransacked, so it looked quite messy. Harvey didn’t mind it at all; after sitting down for a moment, he decided to make himself some tea.
He had only been in the outskirts for just a few weeks, but after everything that happened, he had a lot to contend with.
At the same time, he was waiting for the moment that his identity would be exposed. Oddly enough, nothing happened even after he waited for an entire day.
It was as if everything that happened in the Mandrake
Residence was just a dream; nobody in the outskirts mentioned the situation.
Harvey instinctively called Billie, but she invited him for a meal hesitantly before hanging up.
“Interesting. Looks like Stefan’s taking action.”
Harvey put his cup down before staring at the ceiling.
“He’s already calmed down for the next big show. Impressive. However…”
As Harvey was thinking about Stefan’s goal, the doorbell started to ring repeatedly. He frowned, and went to open the door.
A woman in a lilac dress stood before him. She looked a little like Romina and Asher, but exuded a gallant, heroic spirit.
However, her beauty overpowered that aura.
Harvey stared at her, then noticed a broken bead hanging around her neck. Kairi had given him the other half.
He smiled.
“Ms. Sierra Klein of the Wolven Tribe?”
Sierra sized up Harvey, and broke into a gentle smile.
“You’re exactly how Kairi described you. She said you’d be able to recognize me as soon as we met. This must be fate!”
“Don’t.”
Harvey shook his head.
“It’s our first time meeting each other. Don’t say things like that.
If there’s something you need, just let me know. For Kairi’s sake, I’ll do everything in my power to help you.”
Sierra chuckled after hearing Harvey’s words, then casually walked into his room with ease.
“Kairi told me to take good care of you. No matter what happens to you, I’ll do my best for you whenever you need it.”
