Harvey shrugged.
“I wouldn’t say that…but since I’m being blamed for something I didn’t do, there’s no choice but for me to get involved, right?
“Well, proving my innocence alone isn’t enough.
“Aside from the person who framed me… I want everyone involved in the dizzy pill incident to be completely eradicated. If not, I wouldn’t be able to live with myself.”
Asher scoffed once more.
“You’re strong, but that doesn’t mean that you can do everything you want!
“I suggest you leave while you’re still ahead. You can probably live a few more years that way. You won’t gain anything else by knowing too much, unless you want to die faster.
“I’ll be honest. A powerful organization is involved in this.
“That organization has many members-they have a lot of money, and they’re usually discreet.
“More importantly, it’s been around since ancient times. The dizzy pills are just a side product for them. Even without those pills, they still have other ways to make money.
“You want to eradicate them? Keep dreaming!”
Asher was rather smug.
“Let me tell you something! There are many people like you in the organization!” he added arrogantly.
“I see.” Harvey nodded. “With you being so blunt, if I still can’t make an educated guess about this organization… I’d be a little too stupid, aren’t I?”
“An educated guess?” Asher laughed. “I’ll kneel if you can actually make a guess! I…”
He froze, his face a horrible expression.
Harvey dipped his finger in his soda, then casually wrote Evermore” on the table. The simple mention of the name made Asher instinctively shiver.
‘He figured it out? What?! He’s not even scared about it, either!’
Since ancient times, Evermore tried to create the Everlasting Pill. While doing so, they managed to invent a side product.
Although they only produced the dizzy pills in the outskirts, they still made heaps of money.
Safe to say, anyone who knew about this would steer clear of such an ancient organization.
Yet, the man before Asher was different.
Harvey made a gesture, signaling Dutch to cut off the power source of the room. He made sure that no equipment was
working, then smiled gently at Asher.
“Since I don’t fear Evermore, you should be able to notice something at this point.
“You’re not stupid. You must’ve known that I’m not the Harvey you’ve been looking into.
“As for who I am, there’s no need to worry about that.
“Just know that I already ruined two of Evermore’s plans.I went up against the Ten Revered and the Twelve Earthly Branches as well.
“What happens to someone like you doesn’t matter to me… But would Evermore think the same way?”
