“Asher… Are you still not going to talk? It’s been six hours.

“You should know that if someone tried, you would’ve been bailed out by now. The fact that you’re still here means that your family has actually abandoned you.

“The Islanders you rely on are nowhere to be found. Your backer is in hiding, too. Tell me, what else can you look forward to at this point?”

Harvey smiled.

“If you cooperate with Director Dutch and prove my innocence, you’ll get a chance to free yourself! How simple is that? Are you not going to take it? You won’t survive if you don’t!”

Asher raised his head to look at Harvey.

“Enough showing off, Harvey!

“If you had a way to deal with me, you would’ve done something by now. Since I’m still unscathed, then it means that nobody can touch me. Not even you!

“I’ll let things end here if you let me go! If not, I’ll make sure that you die painfully…”

Asher had a determined look on his face, as if he would never back down from Harvey.

In reality, he was scared witless.

“I really am trying to give you a chance, Young Master Asher,” Harvey said with a smile.

Harvey pointed at Dutch, who was standing by the door.

“Do whatever you want with me. But if I die at your hands, you won’t be left unscathed!”

Asher closed his eyes, waiting for his imminent death.

Harvey sighed.

“You and I both know that I’m not asking for the name of your backer.

“I want to know who’s the actual culprit of the dizzy pill incident. I’m not interested in proving myself innocent in the first place. The moment you fell into my hands, I was safe.

“But I’m curious. Who would sell such harmful drugs in the outskirts to hurt the future generation?

“I won’t sleep well unless I deal with the root of the problem!”

Asher scoffed.

“Who do you think you are? Are you trying to uphold justice?” he said mockingly.
